I never really liked X8's system Its too easy. You just start from the point you died, or a halfway point... whats the point then? it makes [parasitic bomb] too easy. And why do they go to the continue screen instead of just regenerating? its stupid.

Somehow I know what you mean... I liked both, but they still felt hollow... X8 especilly. under all the music and gameplay, something felt missing.

well X7 was "3D" so continuing might have been broken due to increased memory usage
or the fact that they might not have even CARED about X7

I personally don't like X7
X whined all the time about "why do reploids have to fight" nonsense
Zero was too strictly scripted. They could have at least have made him have a little emotion... :(

Play the Japanese version.

Really, Zero isn't 'too strictly scripted', he just had an emotionless voice actor. Script-wise you can even see him cracking jokes with the likes of Ride Boarski.

But I guess people just don't get the stuff about Road Attackers, Road Riders and Crash Roadsters.
