Having replayed the first recently, the Keyblade chooses Sora after his "my friends are my power!" speech. The messed-up part is how Donald and Goofy ditch Sora when Riku takes the Keyblade back. Although, according to a Xehanort Report where he states that a Keyblade Master can remove hearts, which Sora does to release Kairi's... Does this mean he showed the Mark that early?

I would think that taking down the big bad would qualify for that as is. I really said to myself "is this really necessary?" when hearing the plot for KH3DS. No, that's fine, we just took down the heartless big bad and all the crazy nobody leaders in giant city sized battles saving the universe TWICE. But, no, we're not keyblade masters or anything.

To be fair, it's more of a title and it's not just about skill. Who knows, maybe the whole procedure unlocks some hidden power or something like that. Also, I think they'll need it if they ever want to get Ven's comatose body out of Castle Oblivion.

Yeah, that's possible. Aqua was only able to create Castle Oblivion because Eraqus taught her the technique due to becoming a Keyblade Master. Thus Ven and Terra were unable to do so. Sora and/or Riku will likely be forced to learn that technique as well, since that might be the staple power of becoming Master. Other than that new ability, i'm not sure if "Master" bears any significance besides the ranking.

On a side note, i thought of something interesting: If Sora or Riku do indeed learn the technique, what's to say either of them won't preform the same move Aqua did? Create a completely brand new area/location to explore. That could be a really awesome start-up for KH3. Just some food for thought.

Nomura already said in an interview somewhere that Aqua was the only one capable of getting Ven's body out of Castle Oblivion because she was the only one who had the correct memories to arrive at the room his body is in, which is why Xemnas couldn't find it when he was looking.

Xemnas is Xehanort, and vice versa. Or rather, Terranort. The Ansem name was stolen when he was still human.

The real Ansem was imprisoned somewhere, I think, and became DiZ.

KH confirmed for Donald and Goofy party, just like old times.

It's hard to tell, but his new outfit looks akin to Valor Form. And is that Traverse Town or a new world? Looks like it could be that Notre Dame world.

Neku from "The World Ends With You" appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D in Traverse Town, asking Sora he needs a partner for the 'Reaper's Game'.

I love TWEWY, but this is an interesting and nice surprise! I wonder if any other character, non-Disney, non-Final Fantasy, and non-Original characters will appear?

We have part of the name of the dog-like pet, too! Seemingly he is (partially) named Ndanyan, and the bat accompanying Riku starts with "Kou"! We'll get the (full) translated names to you when we have them!

KINGDOM HEARTS 3D: Dream Drop Distance Releasing Spring 2012 in Japan

    The trailer begins with Yen Sid's voice explaining the circumstances of the adventure taking place this time around. It seems Riku and Sora will be contending to finally become Keyblade Masters. It takes place in "the world submerged in sleep", but the details are still unknown. Also, the enemies are called Dream Eaters, goblins who consume sleep.

    Once again, Sora descends into Traverse Town, calling in search for Riku, when he hears the voice of a new character say, "The Noise are horrible..." The guest character appearing is Neku, the headphones toting main character from "It's a Wonderful World" (The World Ends With You). It seems Neku is caught in the Reaper's Game, where if you cannot complete the mission given by the Reapers, your existence will be eliminated. But he doesn't have a partner; it seems Sora may be lending him a hand?

    Then suddenly the round form of an adorable creature appears. That creature is shown rolling about on the flat top side of a hand using the camera function. Just like a puppy, you can see it's belly. Seems you can pet it using the touch pad, it looks so cute when it's eyes light up! It seems Sora befriends it, riding upon it during battle and hopping around upon it. Also, it's so speedy it's hard to tell what's happening, but since the original concept of the title is "bold action", it seems that the battles are more refreshing than anything in the series so far!

    There is also a surprise in the final scene. There is a cutscene from Xehanort's point of view, the camera faces Braig who says, "Has your memory returned?" Maybe this will be one of the memories explained in this title.

And with that, we can say that p. much Nomura writes his characters in a near-identical manner in each game/draws a character in a way so similar to his last it's no wonder we poke fun at him for it. Also that bat looks like Meta-Knight. No really.

Also Neku.. That means how old is TWEWY now?
