So I've been playing Re:Coded, and I have a question.

Any advice to taking on the final System Sector in Hollow Bastion (the one that you get Ultima Weapon from)? I have to say, the 13 floors and defeating the Eliminator for one of the floor challenges seems a bit daunting.

Then again, I did do all 30 layers of Olympus Coliseum...

You know that the plot is gonna be so convoluted and crap (more than it already is) by the time KH3 comes along that it will be terrible no matter what.

Takes place directly after the first BBS.

I dunno, this "completely new" game looks like it'll have more about how Sora, Riku and Kairi got to Destiny Island and maybe bits about how the Organization gets formed and station themselves in the Castle of Oblivion and Radiant Garden, among other things. And some more plot points between Mickey/Ansem the Wise, and Terranort working with Braig on getting their hands on Kingdom Hearts. ^^;

The gameplay will be replaced by quick time events, DARKNESS, more cutscenes and DARKNESS.

It could have many aspect really, depending on who the playable characters are.

1. Aqua fighting the Darkness. At this time I don't think Ansem the Wise will actually be there at the point of Volume 2, since the event where he gets stuck in the Darkness doesn't happen until KH2 where he shoots his machine thingy at Kingdom Hearts.
2. You are Sora that has Ven's soul inside him and you are stuck in Destiny Island or doing other things with Riku, Kairi and the FF characters.
3. You are Terranort that is forming the Organization along with Braig (Xigbar) and gather new members. Think 358/2 Days type game.

Any of those or all 3.

Umm... Ansem was thrown in to the DARKNESS once way before KH2, if I remember correctly.
But yeah, I don't think he'll be there because Aqua meets him for the first time when he falls in the second time.

There will be way more than that, considering that Nomura wants to release a KH game a year and KH3 is still years away.

To me, since the trailer for Dream Drop Distance starts out with the extra scene from Re:Coded mentioning the Mark of Mastery, maybe that test to prove oneself as a Keyblade master is just a simulation, or a dream. Hence all the improbable. And to master it, one is set to their forms when first wielding the Keyblades (in this case, KH1 Sora and Riku).

That's what I think, at least.

As for the new one, sounds interesting.
