StrangeMan looked at the stars falling from the forest. "Afro Toad, Soul Boo, Goomba kids, I believe there is something...peculiar going on over the forest...also it's on fire, and that can't be good for the trees." (no duh Sherlock) StrangeMan looked for something in his sack. "This looks like a job for!..." StrangeMan took out a large moustache. "STRANGIO!! Let's go and save the forest. And remember where there's smoke...there's smokers, of the marihuana variety!" And Strangio slided (or is it slode?) towards the forest, leaving his friends and orphan goombas behind.

Ryuta sensed someone sliding through the forest, and turns to see a the same Mario impersonator that tried to infiltrate Aldo's castle.  Not wanting to stick around and see what he was after this time, he pockets the Biostar in his coat pocket and rushes off through the maze of forests in search of the lake he last visited to try and quell most of the fire.

[Afro-Shroom]

Every one save for Afro-Toad stared in awe of what just happened. Afro-Toad mumbled and got every thing together...

SB: Um...Afro-Toad? What just happened?

A-T: *sigh* 2 things; 1-he's changed his identity...again  and 2-we just side tracked into another side quest. 

SB: This happen often to you?

A-T: You could say that. *turns over to the Goomba siblings* Come on kids, we have to go after Uncle...*sigh* "Strangio" 

SM's party get their stuff and head off towards the forest, following the path of sliding marks left by our hero of sorts...

Ryuta sensed someone sliding through the forest, and turns to see a the same Mario impersonator that tried to infiltrate Aldo's castle.  Not wanting to stick around and see what he was after this time, he pockets the Biostar in his coat pocket and rushes off through the maze of forests in search of the lake he last visited to try and quell most of the fire.

"Hey, strange looking person who might just be the one who started the fire and made the stars fall! I saw you there! Don't ya try to run away from Strangio, you will only experience [twin slasher], of the mind variety...or you'll just get annoyed...whichever comes first." Said the Mario impersanator as he followed the man to the forest maze.

SM's group caught up quicker than A-T thought...

A-T: *pointing out to Strangio* There he is! *runs after him in to the maze*

SB: *kneeling down to the Goomba Kids* Um...we should probably just go around the maze to the other side. Shall we?

SoulBoo and the Goomba Kids happily make their way to the exit of the maze and wait for Afro-Toad and Strangio...

Ryuta ignores the tall Mario impersonator as he continues to run through the maze before spotting the lake in the horizon.  Intent on conning them into using thei Flower Power to cause a much larger explosion of water than what he could accomplish with his firebombs alone, and the cool his cybernetic systems from the heat of the fire, he dives into the lake, swimming to the very bottom center, waiting to see what they might do next.

Strangio managed to follow the man's trail to a lake, but he did not see him anywhere. "Hmmm, I swear that man came through here..." Strangio thought of what might have happened to the man. "...*Ding*(lightbulb) AH HA! I know what to do, I must use vidja ghaim logic...so the man must be hiding..." Strangio walked towards the lake, he stopped and shouted: "...UNDER THIS ROCK!!" To his misfortune, the man was not under the nearby rock. "Okay...then maybe..." Strangio then went to the other edge of the lake. "...BEHIND THIS TREE!!...not there either. You're a sneaky devil you." Strangio began to scratc his head. "Guess he got away...but I still wonder if he caused all this...Oh well no sense crying over spilled milk, eh. I got a forest to save!...but I left my fire equipment at home." Strangio continued to scratch his head, thinking of a way to extinguish the forest fire.

[Afro-Shroom]

A-T: *running through the maze* rrr, hate these stupid maze environments. *runs into StrangeMan, knocking him onto the ground* Oof. *looks up* Found you! *points at SM*

Sensing the insane Mario impersonator's ignorance to check the lake, Ryuta opts for a different approach.  The compartment in his right palm opens as a firebomb pops out, grasping it before it drops out of reach and places it gently on the muddy terrain.  He does this several times with both fire and plasma bombs until he fills 2ft of the lake, then throws a single plasma bomb at the mixture, causing an explosion that sent the water filling the lake spraying out like a gyser, spilling down around the forest as though it were rain.

The impact launches Ryuta into the air, sending him soaring towards the castle in the RPM Kingdom as he obseves the water raining down along the forest maze; hopeful that the lake will be enough to put out the fire.

"WHAT THE HOODED ELF WAS THAT!?!" Was Strangio's reaction when he heard the explosion. AS the water poured down upon him and his small fungi friend, he thought to himself: "This explosion...I wonder if it had something to do with that man...further more, what was he doing in the forest in the first place...oh well I guess it doesn't matter now." StrangeMan turned to Afro-Toad. "So I guess we're done in here eh?"

[Gaia]

*At Smithy's Lair, one of which "accidentally" pushes Gaia downward*

Gaia: Hey, watch it!

The-Guy-Who-Knocked-Gaia-Down: Too bad! Hah!

*He gets up, and acts like it's nothing afterward.*

(Actually, if Eldstar's supposed to be the last star piece, wouldn't he replenish your HP and FP?)

Mack seems to be observing the fiasco going on outside the Kingdom and jumps forward, causing his Shyster's to bounce from his earth-shattering landing.

"Listen up, you guys!  Something's going on out there, and I have an inkling they'll come here to put a stop to the fiasco we already started!  Are we happy about this!?"

The Shyster's bounce in unison, "No sir!"

Mack bounces on his sword again, "Then let us-!"

He's suddenly interrupted by a black blurr crashing on top of him, knocking him and his sword-like pogo away from each other.  Ryuta stands on top of the momentarily outcold Mack, looking between him and the Shysters before meagerly placing his fists behind his back and walking ever so calmly out of the castle.

(BTW, I'm not planning on playing as Mack, I just need him as a plot device for Ryuta's landing and eventual encounter with the less than familiar party)

Meanwhile, at Smithy's base...

The obnoxious donkey was moving in the base's conveyer belts. "*Grumble grumble* Why did I have to be sent out to look for another BioStar when one was standing right in front of me...GRRRRRRRR!!" Steam was blowing out of the donkey's ears. "Not only that but I have to come back here to get some minions to help me. I CAN DO FINE BY MYSELF YOU KNOW!!" He complained. When he got off of the last converyer belt that was heading towards Smithy's office/workshop/whatever, he bumped into a strange metallic terrapin (Gaia). "Hey watch it rookie!"

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

*A tornado of flame burnt an entire fraction of the southwest end of Rose Forest to the ground. However...*

"Oh well, now that's convenient. Those falling stars are putting out the wildfi---wait...OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OWWWWWWWWW!"

*Falling stars pelted Aldo and his Troopas. More Troopas have run away. The noise alerted a strangely-shaped underling...*

"NYA NYA NYA! SHUT THE HELL UP! Nya! And why is half of MY forest missing?!"

*Aldo's remaining Troopas huddled behind a large boulder that survived the charged Heat Wave; they knew what was coming next. Aldo's armor started to glow, the shoulder pads detracted, and Aldo drew his dual short lightsabers once more.*

"...excuse me? Did you just say YOUR FOREST?! WELL, THAT'S ODD, 'CAUSE I'M PRETTY SURE EVERYTHING I CAN SEE FROM MY KEEP IS KOOPA KINGDOM!"

*Aldo notices the star that fell earlier in the possession of one of Bowyer's henchmen.*

"Wait, I've seen that before. That looks like...a star spirit...I could use that..." Aldo thought.
"...tell you what. You give me that star you have, there, and I won't mangle your entire army and rearrange your face, how does that sound?"

"NYA NYA! Think not, I do! An arrow I will shoot at you!"

"BRING IT ON!"



(You've got a little more time to help defeat Bowyer! ...but you're too late on the forest and the Biostar. )

Booster's Henchmen: Yes sir!

*Booster's Henchmen join in on the territorial brawl*

Captain of Booster's Army: HEY, THIS IS BOOSTER'S TERRITORY, F***K OFF! SEE THE CASTLE FAR OFF THE DISTANCE? THAT'S BOOSTER'S TOWER! NOW SCRAM!

No-no sire, it´s not about the pay, it´s about the guy who invaded your castle like if you had the worst guards ever *which is true* and then pummeled and beat the crap out of you......who´s comming to this place right now!

*Aldo stopped rapid-firing his buster.*

"What, that strange man? Pfft. All he did was throw a frog in my face, for which he still owes me. I wasn't even trying! If he does show up, he's in a world of trouble. ...come to think of it, where's Soul Boo?"

*Booster's Defenders arrive.*

"Snifits? Geez, haven't seen one of those in a while. ...Booster? Who the heck is that? No matter; I know you want to play, but you'd better put up your toys. Those slingshots won't work."

*Bowyer takes advantage of the numbers situation. Three purple, living squares fall on the ground in front of him.*

"NYA! Rough your attacks are! Rougher still are my spells!"

*Bowyer fires an arrow at the 'A' Button. Aldo attempts to fire his buster, but it is somehow disabled. The energy output of Aldo's shortsabers was practically null. But Aldo knew his way around this situation.*

"Yeah, yeah, I know how to fix this. And I'll make it two birdbrains with one stone."

*Aldo's armor changes from its standard red to a familiar gunmetal gray. Aldo switched to the Gravity Well weapon and fired it above the buttons. The Gravity Well sucks in the Defender Snifits and the hurt 'A' Button. HP Level, Bowyer: 55%. Aldo's buster and shortsabers are back online. Aldo continued to mercilessly rapid-fire Bowyer.*
