Roughly 2/3rds of the roster have been balanced. There's one character that I'm leaving on the "God-Tier" level, but since I don't intend for him to be a regular part of this I don't think it matters too much. And NO, it isn't Chuck Norris. He's close, but not *quite* at the same level.
Gotta say, I'm seeing a big difference in how matches play out now. Pretty cool honestly.
Design work for the new title belts is done. Just need names for 'em now. I decided to make each belt-strap a different colour to make them all unique-ish.
World Title: Black Strap
Intercontinental Title: White Strap
Tag Titles: Blue Strap
Women's Title: Gold Strap
Hardcore Title: Red Strap
As a reminder, inaugral champions will be decided during a PPV-style event I'll be recording sometime around the 14th of September (I finish work for a fortnight on the 13th, so I'll have plenty of time to do this).
I did want to make everyone aware of something regarding the Hardcore Title, though. I stand by my "it'll only be defended in Deathmatches" rule, but the game doesn't allow multi-man Deathmatches unless they're team-based. In this case, I will do team-based matches (meaning the action will be kinda....lop-sided? Can't think of the word...) but the caveat will be that whoever scores the winning fall will get the belt. Seem fair?
That said, if anyone wants to put themselves forward for a title shot at the event, let me know, yeah? I may not be able to accomodate everyone (max-8 people for singles Title matches, has to be 2-on-2 for Tag Matches), but I'll do what I can.
Here's how I'm planning the card:
Match #1: Non-title singles match (will probably debut some new characters in this one)
Match #2: Non-title tag match (same as above)
Match #3: Barbed-Wire Deathmatch for the Hardcore Title (two slots for this are already taken)
Match #4: Elimination Tag Match for the Tag Titles
Match #5: Women's Title Match (format yet to be decided, depends how much interest there is)
Match #6: Intercontinental Title Match (format yet to be decided)
Match #7: World Title Match (format yet to be decided)
Fun Fact: I played a 8-man Tag Barbed Wire Deathmatch with my friend the last time I saw him, and it ended in a draw when the ring explosion took EVERYONE out.
