Okay, dinner's time.  I'll be back on later tonight possible!

Also, only my Jun has a problem against Roll.  My Ken does just fine!  ;)

Ninja Lou

Those was some great matches Aqua, but the only thing that drove me crazy was for some reason the stage select was favoring you tonight. I couldnt get any of my stages =p

Good matches, Lou!  I almost came back that one round with V. Joe; I actually thought that BRQ'd combo was going to finish you!  Why must Roll be so short? XD

lol, I just got my first ragequitter right now. He had like 2000 more bp, and I was just about to make a comeback from the brink of death and win, but before my Yatterman-1's level 3 finished, he DCed XD

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Yeah you almost had me with that BRQ that was a close call.

In regard to the Height
Omg same thing with Joe! I have trouble using Chun Li and Ryu against him.

Roll's actually smaller, so even if some combos work on Joe, they won't on Roll XD

Relevant:

Joe's short, but he's still vulnerable to a wide majority of combos.  Roll's a lot harder to work around, though, as you have to re-design your combos and everything!

I plan to. You are the only Joe user I know so I don't have much practice against him. I actually use Roll because of the Original TvsC. I just love her song.

Isn't that just SUCH a great feeling?   8)  My first time I got someone to ragequit felt SO good!

Okay, so I'm really glad to know I'm not the only one who has an issue with Roll's height at times!  XD

Actually, I think I'm getting a lot better with the Viewtiful Joe.  I've just gotta stop pulling out the Big Gun when it's SUPPOSE to be Mach Speed!

Also, you all have not seen fury until you've seen Lou's and my friend JoshMack use Alex.

Exactly!  I remember one occasion where my Trigger was beasting on this guy's team (I had gotten hit like once), and the guy ragequits after I KO'd his first character!  It's one of those "guilty pleasure" moments.

Yeah, I occasionally get the super mixed up as well (Lou smacked me for it in the match we just had IIRC).  Should that happen, just pull a DHC, provided you have meter.  The cannon's got plenty of uses on it's own, though; I actually used it on some poor TB user who whiffed a Voltekka!  Also, try firing charged Voomerangs when you get the chance.  A lot of people seem to forget that it hits more than once, so you can often get a free combo off.

I do try at times, but a lot of the time I tend to mad rush with him.  Heh, probably how I [tornado fang] up the super at times!  XD

The Blind Archer

For the want of spare time, spare cash, and my Wii not being a 6-hour drive away from me... ... *sigh*

Anyway, getting as soon as I can.  Couldn't pass up my man Viewtiful Joe, and I nostalgia'd so much when I saw Tekkaman Blade/Teknoman, so I think I've got my team right there.  I believe the expression is "Do Want".

The video is taking forever to load, so I'll ask, can he block? If not, yay free wins XD

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Flame

probably not, Since I don't think Yami CAN block. Also, Free wins? maybe, but keep in mind Yami doesnt need energy for specials, and is played by a human player, who is far more likely to spam Yami's good moves than the CPU. Which would no doubt make him harder.

Finally, I get to make a video series of this, and after a year of waiting I finally get to try my hands on playing as Mega Man Volnutt, Zero, Frank West, and Viewtiful Joe. And their all awesome too!

Here's part one already:

In this series, I'll be playing through Survival mode to see how far I get in the game. As the matches go on, it gets increasingly harder. One thing I must point is that... I AM NOT AN EXPERT AT THIS GAME, you'll definitely see me spamming some moves at some parts of the matches. Please note that this game was played with the Wiimote.

As I venture through the game's survival mode, we'll be listening to a plethora of other game music to allow a different, unique musical experience. The soundtrack for this game is totally awesome and all, but it never hurts to expand the playlist >U<.

The following music featured in this part include:

(1:08) Vs. Frank West & Viewtiful Joe
♫ Medieval Mayhem ~ Sushi Temple (Ape Escape)

(2:45) Vs. Jun The Swan & Ken The Eagle
♫ The Flutter vs. The Gesellschaft! (Mega Man Legends / Rockman DASH)

(4:14) Vs. Tekkaman & Saki
♫ Flying Battery Zone Act 2 (Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles)

(5:44) Vs. Joe The Condor & Karas
♫ Area F (Mega Man ZX)

(6:53) Vs. Batsu & Polimar
♫ Under Construction ~Wow Wow 70's Mix~ (A NiGHTS Remix - Another Dream)

(8:46) Vs. Tekkaman Blade & Kaijin No Soki
♫Uncharted Region of China (The original track ; Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom)

I hope you guys enjoy this run as much as I had, and I hope maybe you'll learn something from this series, just as I have learned in this topic.

Flame

Its actually easy to get pretty far in survival. Because spam,(pfft, anyone who ISNT online does it on the CPU, because it wont care.) and the CPU isnt terribly bright, as it hardly EVER blocks.
But survival is always fun.

anyway,
been practicing with T.Blade. He's really fun to use when you have the hang of him.

Yeah, I try my best not to spam in matches unless I'm absolutely in deep [parasitic bomb] in a match. Plus it's cheap, and I always envision every match as a "practice round" for when I get into an actual match with either someone online or in real life. But that's just me.

The Blind Archer

Finally got to play a bit of this during break.  Couldn't play long since it was a Gamestop kiosk, but I still enjoyed every minute.  I'm terrible at this game, and I love it.  Will get it eventually, though I don't think it'll be anytime in the near future.  Can't guarantee I'll improve either; I suck at fighters. :B

In the time I played, it felt like my best team was Blade and Soki.  I'll need to experiment more to find out, but they worked the best for me in the short time I was able to play.

Protoman Blues

I got to play this with some people at PAX. I was so proud of myself. I actually held my own, even though I had to use a GC Controller instead of my normal Classic Controller. It was a lot of fun though!  8)
