we're talking about a capcom VS fighter, these are hardly the same as normal ones. >>

Plus you do heal after every battle.

Besides, Yami's NO match for YATTERMAN-1.

Flame

You dont heal entirely though. So if any one of the forms gave you a tough time and left you with little health, unless you're Roll, you better hope to get lucky.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Protoman Blues

Honestly though, Yami's incredibly easy.  Just beam spam him to death.  His 1st form is the most troublesome, and when Handjob Yami does the Hand Super, just super jump over it.

He's no match for Trigger or Zero, either.

Trigger's charged buster downs Yami's first form in 3 hits.  And on a giant who either cannot or will not block, Rekkoha is RIDICULOUS.  Reminds me of bringing down those big wheels in X6.

EDITS: Just got my first online with RDW.  And I can only hope that, someday, my thumb learns the difference between directly down and diagonally down. >_<

Yeah, but Yatterman 1 can easily perfect any of his forms if he has meter.

Honestly though, Yami's incredibly easy.

And yet people still call him cheap, even after he got nerfed. Seriously, I could kinda understand it for Seth, but for Yami? It's just people blaming the game instead of admitting they suck =/

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Hypershell

Yami is cheap if you forget how to block.  Which I did for my first three-or-so attempts.

My plan for Yami is just to Super Jump a bunch and sic Zero on him using mainly the buster and Rekkoha.

Needs healing, just call in Roll.

The Yami hand is only ever really cheap. the other forms really give me little problem.

Also, I just unlocked Zero, and he is  0v0

So, who else loves to constantly use Sogembu to do the Shot-Shot Saber? 8D
Although ive noticed that this Sogembu takes more after the Command Mission "heat haze" version, where the double stays "on" Zero.

I found Soki's ending HILARIOUS. I saw the animated one, but I love how all the characters are doing the Arthur run.

Sweet. Now I can listen to Orbital Ring Systems Cargo Bay on the go.
<3 that stage. Music is so [tornado fang]ing sweet there.
Favorite stage for sure.

Just wondering if there's a more effective method of this on Hand Yami. Usually, the fire saber attack breaks my guard (standing or ducking) and I usually have to use a mega break or whatever to get out of it. The only method I saw so far was to have Volnutt's Shield Arm on and it'll block while nullifying chip damage.

Just fishing to see if there's anything else I can do here. He's not hard, no. It's just a little annoying dealing with that attack.

Solar

Advance guard (All attack buttons while blocking) like crazy and you'll get little to no chip damage, you can do the same for every beam special actually. If you meant the grab, just super jump it.

Yknow, I have to admit, they dug pretty deep for that Black Zero scheme.

They had to do some deep digging for this game, in its entirety.

I mean, I LOVE the fact they took Condor Joe's stance from later on in the first series. Jun has her rhythm gymnastics style that really made her come into her own in G2, and so forth, and so on.

In other news....my copy should hopefully be here by Monday. Can't wait. ^_^

Flame

Its fun that they chose the Bandai model kit color scheme for Black Zero.
Although I would have appreciated a change of Saber color to go with it, but meh.

I have officialized my main team as Karas and Zero. That Karas is deadly.

Got the game yesterday. I'm kinda bad at it, but it's good fun. I guess I'll get better, eventually. At least I'm better at fighting Yami now.

I didn't do too badly in my first Wi-Fi match, but I think my opponent was much better.

Joe's ending made me laugh. I had to dig into my memory of random GameInformer issues to realize what Capcom game he was in.

Didn't know that about Advance Guard. That makes life much easier against Saki at least. Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed that right away too. I use to have one of them. Red was always sold out...
