i'm kinda surprised no one mentioned this yet.

there was a new build of Tatsucap over at EVO 09. and there have been some tweaks to the characters. read up on them here.

the one that caught my eye, though was:

Yatterwan replaces Yatterpelican for 2P color.

So outside of confirming new characters, online support, bug fixin's, some change in music, and new voice over work, we pretty much know nothing about what's up with the US release, right? Oh well, gives me time to get the cash needed to buy this game.

Doubt it (though I would love to see Ai-chan >.>), Yatterman 2P was actually inferior to Yatterman 1P BECAUSE of the Pelican, believe it or not.

It's just likely something that they weren't able to think of fully, at least by the initial JP release.

Who knows, though. Maybe they'll change their minds by a sequel or whatever.

I say, tease away. Stuff like that is the kind of thing that makes it so that maybe the fans will respond, and we can actually have a mandate/demand for such to happen, one day!

I think it's a good idea to renew their partnership and give us what could be the best VS. game out there. ^^

Terribly late, but if they did go through with a Nintendo VS. Capcom and they went for obscure characters on both sides of the spectrum, fighting game of the forever. Takamaru vs. Dante? Firebrand vs. Pit? [tornado fang] yes.
