Heh, I'm kinda torn on everyone but Cyndaquil.  I already have a Sceptile at LVL100, but I kinda want a Blastoise more than a Swampert, despite Swampert's immunity to Electric.

Sakura Leic

Yeah that's the only one I'm torn with because I will pick Venusaur, even though I probably won't use it, and Blaziken no matter what.

Why?

Cause I like Blastoise, but usually never pick him due to me always starting with Fire, no matter what.  However, I already have a LVL100 Charizard, and a pretty good one too, so I'm probably going to go with Blastoise.

Huh I never knew that I always picked the ones that had the best advantage in the journey such as Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil for Blue/Leaf Green and Crystal then experimented with Mudkip and Torchic Sapphire and found Torchic to be better then I just chose Piplup for Pearl cuz it was cute, I don't want to restart the game, and really those weren't my favorite starters.

Wait, people actually like feraligatr?

Mind blown.
Why what's wrong with him?

I always start with Fire, in every Pokemon game.  I like fire!   8)

True I like fire too but I think I'll pick Totodile and then find a Vulpix because that's one of my favorite Fire types and high speed definetly doesn't hurt.

Feraligatr's just like gyarados. Except worse. And he looks ugly.

S'no good.

I think he has more special attack potenial and it's not really hard evovle like a Magikarp unless you do want to use exp share or switching it out.

And Totodile can DANCE!
Yes and all Magikarp can do is splash which can't even hurt a Charmander.

Gyarados is still better. Immune to ground and resistant to fighting, yeeeeeah. Intimidate, yeeeeeeeeeeeah. Feraligatr's got like what it's got swords dance. And superpower I guess.

Also shiny gyarados looks cool while shiny feraligatr looks terrible.

Also also gyarados/electivire = ULTIMATE COMBO

Sakura Leic

While I do like Intimidate being immune to Ground doesn't really matter since it's not super effective against water and I could just wipe said Ground type in question with Surf.

You know, technically the best way to settle this Gyarados/Feraligatr debate is with a Pokemon Battle!  8)

Sakura Leic

I would but 1. I haven't EV trained the thing, I think my friend was right EV training does take the fun out of Pokemon, and 2. My Wi-Fi's not working that's why I wasn't online for 2-3 days.

Yeah, but I'd need to train a feraligatr, and then I'd need to build a team around it, 'cause it won't fit in to my current one like gyarados does, and then I'd need to battle a whole bunch with that new team to get a proper feel for it, and then I'd need to battle a whole bunch so I could properly evaluate how well the crocodilian does, and, well, y'know, screw it.

I mean I'm just gonna stick to complaining about colours if it's all the same to you.

Unless you're asking for a battle now which would be totally cool. I got my diamond team all ready to go. But I doubt you are.

I wish I could but again Wi-Fi and EV training...I hate you EV training.  Not to mention my Feraligatr's only like above 30 or so last I checked.

Rin

I've picked Totodile, since I picked Cyndaquil in original Silver. Is not bad. I'm still at the beginning, triaining my Pidgey so he'll be level 10 like Toto.

And HOLY [parasitic bomb], you can team up with people? Like... with your rival for example? AWESOME. : D

Sakura Leic

Now I have another thing in my mind, what should I name my Totodile and Torchic and what would happen if PB wrote a GoRPM based on said debate on Feraligatr and Gyrados.

LoL, yeah.  I was just suggesting it for you two.

Yeah, but what would that prove? I mean there are gonna be ten other pokemon in there doin' their thing, and I assume there's gonna be a skill difference, too, so it's not like we're gonna be able to evaluate individual pokemon all that well. Especially with how easy pokemon got killed. All it takes is one mistake or instance of bad luck and they can go down, no matter how good they are. Y'know what it's like, you're about to kill some dude's whole team, suddenly a clefable with a toxic orb gets a lucky critical with facade and ruins everything (YES AQUA I AM IN FACT LOOKING AT YOU RIGHT NOW).

Well level's not a problem at least, 'cause we can always just autolevel to 100 if we're playing online. Though yeah if your guys aren't EV'd things would be ridiculously unfair. Won't really prove much about how awesome gyarados is.
