Well, it's not specific on gameplay, but IGN's article is even more specific than I thought:When we pressed him for more, Miyamoto added, "Maybe the best thing for you to understand is that all of the leaders of those teams -- of the Mario team, of the Zelda team and of the Pikmin team -- all sit within 150 feet of my desk. The Galaxy team is the only one that's farther away -- they're in Tokyo. But I do have video conferencing with them." We stunned him with a hard-hitting follow-up: 'We don't really have a question. We just want you to
make another Galaxy game.' To this, Miyamoto replied, "Leave it to me."Alright. We've already seen the Mario and Pikmin teams warming up with Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 1 ports.
Then there's Pikmin 3, which is already known.
We've also been shown LoZ: Spirit Tracks.
Now, based on all that, considering he's mentioned all 3 franchises that we've heard from recently, THEN for him to not only specifically talk about a Galaxy team but moreover to say that he presently has video conferencing rather than past tense referring to SMG1's production process,
...yeah, expect a Super Mario Galaxy 2 at some point. Heck, expect a 3. Remember, the Wii is copying the NES' success frame.
