And you'd better believe I got my DRAGONITE POWER today!   My first Cherish Ball Pokemon, and he is awesome.  Every IV is 22 or above.

I'll be looking for opponents to try out a team revision.  If anyone's up for a match, let me know.

Anyways, Pokemon Ranch will have a Platinum update for those living in Japan. This update is free, and will include new animations, toys, and updated Platinum forms.

Also, the Rotom Secret Key event is over.
However, a new one is coming, lasting from 16th January to 2nd March.
So if you missed the first one, here's your second shot.

Well I like Mime Jr.s for some reason and I get lots of Pokemon up to 100 that I never actually use, so it doesn't really seem like a waste to me, lol.

There have been hints of one but no concrete evidence yet. I'd kill for a GSC remake. It was disappointing enough Jotho wasn't included in Fire Red/Leaf Green.

Well, you could always look to the Gamemaker Community. There are two people trying to remake G/S at once, one Fire Red/Leaf Green style, the other in it's original format.

Yea, the Johto pokemon are. (fill the entire nationwide pokedex AND beat the game for your choice for Totidile, Chickorita, and Quilava, applies to Pokemon Emerald as well) Newsflash, get the dang GCN games, you can port them over to your GBA and when you get them, over your DS.

But yeah, I'm working on my Pokes. First, getting my Gallade who knows Spycho Cut up to a fair Lv70. Reason? my old team had a huge Ice weakness.

I beat Emerald and then my save was erased! I was pissed. I even had Rayquaza (who I spammed to beat the game, of course)! Meh, no matter. I want to get Platinum. Also, Pearl is misspelled in the topic title.

As time goes on this is getting to be more and more of a hoop to jump through.  GCN/Wii-to-GBA-to-DS transfers require a lot of hardware.  The DSi, once it takes off, will put the lid on GBA-to-DS transfers, as well.  And I'm *STILL* waiting to get my Crystal Extremespeed Dragonite back.

So, yeah, there's plenty reason to pursue a G/S remake, besides the sheer fanboyish value that will guarantee awesome sales.  As a sidenote, perhaps in anticipation of the DSi monkey wrench, the Kanto and Hoenn legendary trios were made available in Platinum (granted the Regis require a movie event, but still).  Some previously Pal Park/W-Slot exclusive Pokemon are included as well, such as Scyther.  If they are trying to ease up on the Slot-2-only 'mans, they've skipped ALL G/S legends.
