I can't stress enough how much I love this drawing...

Oh, and X.  Zero is written better, IMO, but that's because the writers don't really do all that much with X.  With proper writing, I think you can do more with X's character than Zero's.

Yes X can be a better charater with proper writing, again X is only less popular than Zero because of how Capcom made him.  I mean X7 would have been way better if X wasn't such a emo wussy coward, if Axl and all the other characters had better voice acting, and develop more on Axl's story and character, not to mention way better game play.

For me X is a little too weak mentally. After so many years, and so many fights, he's still "please don't be a meanie, I don't want to hurt you". He should know already that nobody on his way really cares about his peaceful solutions. Considering his unlimited potential he should be a high general or something.
Then we have Zero. "You [acid burst] me, I shred you to pieces". It's a war dammit, you have to be strong.

Depends on the game. Usually X because getting the parts for armors is cool, but if it works like X5/6 and you don't get it then and there, I lean more towards Zeros fighting and agility.

Yeah he is a main character and I would like him in.

In the X series, I've always been a "fanboy" of Zero. I find his moves more unique and stylish. And like Saber said, badass. I don't have a problem with X, but I always thought that Zero was a more interesting character.

From X4 and up ZERO pretty much Kira'd everything and became the main character. All the actual story elements were all about him. X was just the "title character". Like Dante in DMC4.

hell, X was a pencil pusher in X7 and had to be unlocked.

Like I said Capcom did most things right with Zero, they did some things wrong with X, and the did a lot of things wrong with Axl but he's a good character.
