Just like DBZ fillers there was only one filler I really liked, and that was the filler where Naruto Sasuke and Sakura attempt to see under Kakashi's mask. Mostly because of the ending.

this is true, it's based on a mini comic Kishi did for fun in one of the databooks I believe.

the second half of that episode is still a successfull fillers

oh and when Norio Matsumoto animates a Naruto episodes...but that's just me

anyways I like the new chapter~, and from the looks of the opening, The Hebi stuff will be starting rather soon, and I like the song. Blue Bird is still the best opening.

I like it still, but Naruto has more story happening this chapter. While Bleach, only Ul's death.

Yeah that is true. What I like the most during that chapter is the argument between Inoichi and Naruto since well now that we see a good perspective of both sides (or well how Itachi's story and Pain's awesomeness puts it), it's really something how Kishi did that~

Now that I remember, Kishi did another What's Under Kakashi's Mask mini-comic. I have to find it.

He had several of his innards blown away by cero. He's regenerating an outer shell but those innards cannot be replaced. Like any good Hollow, he's fading out of existence as he dies.

When will people learn you can't judge chapters on a weekly basis let alone compare between series?

Bleach's chapter was an emotionally powerful controversial climax. Naruto had a transition chapter with build up to a final confrontation. Incomparable, and both were of great quality.

Heh, I would actually completely agree with Kubo's choice to leave backgrounds white when he's focusing his art on the characters. Characters are most important to him.

Explains the fillers. And Kakashi's true identity is Sigma, flat out. That's what under his mask, a butt-chin. 'Cmon Acid, you know you want to draw Kakashi with a butt-chin for awhile now. (Series insult with a far superior OVA)

Aside from that, the "Mode" thing is kinda for robots. And yea, that's lame, It makes SEED's berserkers look good compared to Naruto's "Something Modes".

I liked the chapter. I've always been curious as to what exactly happened to Nagato and co. after Jiraiya left them, and now we'll know~
