That would be helpful.  I have nine people on my 3DS who never registered me; I need to double check who they are, but I'd wager most if not all are from here (MIGHT be a few from Serebii).

WiiU slackers are harder to identify since their friend requests expire in a month.  I know Vixy's been ignoring mine.

And the only semi-active people I'm waiting on are VC and Waifu.  The rest are inactive and I may even remove them.

It occurs to me that I never even bothered to check if the 3DS Miiverse allows you to Friend people (even if it's obviously not relevant to 3DS online play).  I'm guessing not, which would explain Vixy.  Still handy to Follow their Miiverse posts, I guess.

EDITS: Huh.  Quickie, I'm guessing you've never posted on Miiverse, either?  'cuz even though my WiiU's friend tab can find you (pointless, as discussed above), Miiverse's user search cannot.

If you have the latest firmware, yes.  I forget when exactly they added it, but it's the green icon on the top right, next to the web browser.

Realizing that Miiverse will check if somebody actually has a WiiU before allowing you to send a Friend request, whereas the actual Friend List on the WiiU will not, I just reviewed the first page list on Miiverse (and Followed anyone I was unable to Friend).  The only one who has a WiiU and did not respond was Sougenmu.  ...and somebody I am apparently stalking, seeings how they did not actually submit their info to this thread as far as I know.

That explains it, then.  Miiverse is the only reason to enter a friend's NNID on the 3DS.  But it seems Miiverse will only search itself, and not the entire NNID list the way the WiiU's Friend list does.

I do play with the Mii Maker on occasion in order to make freaks.  But, that's about it.

I.....actually sold my Wii U a couple of years back, and my 3DS friends list is currently empty. I'm not entirely sure it's worth me adding anyone, to be honest. Time-zone differences usually mean I'm either sleeping or working whenever anyone's on.....

Did a long overdue update to the front page so that frikkin idiots like me don't forget that the IDs aren't just a WiiU thing anymore (you'd think when they added Miiverse to the 3DS, they'd have updated WiiU's Friend List with some kind of filter).
