All you have to do is turn the Mii Invites off from the Plaza settings.

Should I trade in my old black 3DS for the red one? I wanted the red one since launch, but should I really trade it in for a color change? I wonder what will happen to my online account with my purchases, can I move all the games I saved and downloaded off of the SD Card and onto my Laptop and put them back into a new 3DS?

Undecided... also I added everyone from the 3DS List up to this point and I might get Mario Cart 7. I miss playing those wacky racing games, I'm getting sick of playing FPS almost all the time.

I believe transferring games from one system from another erases the saves, but don't quote me on that. I tried transferring a DSiWare title from my DSi to the 3DS and my entire progress was lost. Anyway, it's up to you. I personally wouldn't trade off my blue 3DS for anything. When a redesign comes around, I'll buy that as a secondary version.
