How can Blues just be so sexy and perfect?

I mean seriously, just look at him.  The very model of perfection.  Feel free to discuss what it is about Blues that makes him so awesome!

For me, I love the Shades.  I've always been a fan of sunglasses, and Blues just pulls it off to the point of Bluesian perfection.  Also, Red is one of my favorite colors, and come on, just look at his Scarf.  What more can you say?  Well, I could say a lot more, but for now I'll let you, the average non-Bluesian RPMer discuss.

He is so awesome that I modeled Turians' helmet after his helmet. Visors and mystery make an awesome combo!

Playing as Blues/Protoman in Rockman 9 is equally awesome!

Yeah, Blues is definitely a cool character, always mysterious, appearing whenever he is needed, and disappearing way too fast again.

I have my doubts if Capcom should show more about his character or not in future games, other than appearing and disappearing and being playable once in a while. Perhaps he should always be the way he is!

The fact Blues is simply Blues makes him awesome. That aside, like everyone pointed out, his scarf, the shades, and that he is red.

For me, it's all of the points mentioned above, plus his nomadic nature. You never know when he'll appear next, or how long he'll stay--but he's (usually) there when Megaman needs him.

It really is his design details that make him all the more awesome. Whethe it's the red & white helmet that boasts a pair of Racer X type shades built in, the ever present scarf, or the Blues shield, there's no denying that the character design is just awesome.

A lot of thought was put into ProtoMan's design.

The right shade of red, the scarf was a nice touch, helmet markings, shades, whistle, classic gray suit, then a down-to-earth attitude with a bit of cunning and competence.

Granted, you might point to some similarities in his design to some select Anime designs for reference, but there was still a very tedious mixing-and-matching process to make ProtoMan feel like a valid character considering we didn't even know about him during the earliest games, and he was the first!

EDIT: Forgot about the shield. Good for a bonus or plot device, if need be, and ensures distinction between him and Mega Man.
