Give it a proper burial.

No wait- that's harmful to the environment...

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Help here to those that encountered this problem: How in the world do I remove stubborn files? Been driving me crazy for the past months when I want to free hard drive disk space and organize my programs. I did this once by resetting the PC after a scan but I don't think this applies to most stubborn folders.

Anyone?

If need to free up some space and there are files that cannot be deleted since they are used by another person or program there is a handy little program called Unlocker I'll see if I can find a download link for you sometime later.

My friend convinced me to install iTunes for his iPod. How do I make it stop opening processes?

Zandelin

What do you mean stop processes as in terminate the currently running processes or stop the program from starting up on start up?

QuoteSo I booted my PC just now, and I heard "click click, click click, click click, click click" and then it showed me this screen I had never seen before.
I read over it a bit, and right there at the bottom "WARNING: Hard Disk Failure is Imminent, Please back up and replace it immediately, press (F1) to setup, press (F2) to continue"
Obviously, I could only click F2.

So yeah.
I think my PC had decided that it's had enough for reals this time.
I'm getting random attacks of 100% CPU usage, hard disk failure warnings, my disc drive burned out, and I think my onboard audio may have some kind of fault, it's been having weird things going on too.

I have yet to make a lot of money off art, I've only gone and done one commission.
And I've got very little left in my bank account, so I really don't have the money for a new PC.
I'm gonna have to actually purchase new parts now. >: |

I hate my computer.

OmegaZ

My lil' bros' old '98 shows BSoD sometimes when he plays a game, but it's fine, weird eh?
Something weird happened to my banner, please wait while I find a new one.

Flame

it's 98. 98 is the king of errors. Most notably THIS PROGRAM HAS PREFORMED AN ILLEGAL OPERATION AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN.

Also, wow, people still run 98?

What the hell to I need to change in the settings of the display to keep videos from looking so shitty and pixelated?

Solar

Could someone tell me a good player for MKV files? Recently, when I watch an anime in the one I use (VLC media player) the image freezes from time to time while the audio and subtitles keep going =/

Also, what's a good video editor for MKV files?

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Dr. Wily II

Media Player Classic is my personal choice, though not sure about a video editor...

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Sometimes my Lappy bluescreens when I close it, instead of going into sleep mode.
in other words. I close the screen down, but instead of going to sleep mode, the computer stays on, but the screen DOES go to sleep. I cant do anything to "wake it up" though, except for shutting it down Manually from the power button. When I restart, the error report lists the error as "Blue Screen".  Any way to fix this?

My Lappy-chan's fan suddenly started becoming really loud. I think it got lose or something and it's hitting against something. It seems like I'll have to send it in, so it'll get fixed. xx

In terms of graphics and processing, Macs are miles behind PCs. So much so, in fact, they outsource to Intel to make the processors for their best models and similarly to nVidia for their graphic cards.
