This shows how bored I've gotten during the daytime, from time to time. And it's unbeliveably shiny (and a little bad) too. It's a rabbid, too.

Oh well, I've gotten bored with life too, as it is steadily becoming the "Same [parasitic bomb] Diffrent Day" scenario too.

I did a little more "aging" to the lower half, dulled the pallete a bit, added wounds to some areas to the lower half, etc etc. Looks more like a junkyard robot no?

Hmm... the tiles should be worked on a bit more so that they tile more naturally. The one that stands out the most in this concern is the rocks (are they rocks? the bottom of the ground, at any rate).

Well, they are not finalized, and of course, they are rocks, remember MMX2's OP stage? that's the general inspiration idea where this particular BG came from~

I'll keep that in mind.

Your Gaia 09 is pretty MMX8-ish, which is great.

Now here's a crappy rendetion of a generic half-pipe Sonic Special Stage. includes robotnik bombs. and here's a little tip:

-Character sprites have an outline

-BG and Effects in this style have no outline, but some may do anyway

colors and stuff:

- Yellow panel (sign)

- Black panel (dash panel)

- Robotnik Bombs

- Ring(s)

- Pole for the sign

- BG and foreground

And that's it~

I also modified the special stage tile a bit, needs a few more finishing touches and it can be a platformer version of Sonic 2's Special Stage.

I personally like the 2nd one on the 2nd to last row. So delicious looking.

And it's done. You obviously want to know what are the red boxes are for, so I'll tell you: it's to make sure the sprite doesn't go off the boundaries of the PA of rockman over there, for use with the Kallen RM7  mod, no need for credit.

The only thing you need to fix is redrawing her eyes so it's a bit bigger, not so angry, and more feminine. You know, more sparklies~ >v<

I can draw pixel art like that too, but I envy your shading techniques. I'm gonna work on both my VixyNyan 2 and 7 with the same tricks. It's gonna be so cute, you will faint by heart attack. >v<o </wii>

I had to touch it up when I put it into my mod, as soon as I popped it into my Title Screen Picture, most of the colors got screwed up, Now it looks ok...

Um you know what, never mind. Make the eyes angry again, but don't make them as long as the alien eyes she has now. Try do it as close as the official art. Just a tiny bit more eye lash. ^^;

And she can stare at the player. That might look a bit better, so test it first. o.o; </wii>

95% pure custom MMZ  style Gaia (the other 5% is bits from the Harpuia standing sprite). And RMZX, isin't Kallen's eyes GREEN? Nice attempt to fix the eyes though.

Began working on the main character of the RPG; hence his actual filename on my computer is "mainguy". The story might be based off "Smooth Criminal" or something that could be a song or a book, maybe something more origional. Is saving a princess that common in RPGs?

And great work on MMZX Gaia sprites. Though it seems that human Gaia is missing a neck, unless of course that happens to be a style choice of sorts.

I know his wearing a coat...but for some reason, I feel like there's a neck missing on the character. Especially if you compare it to the other human sprite I assume you used as the base for your character.

But again, that's just moi.

Either way, it still a great sprite.
