Then you really got to watch Episode one sometime, it sets the mood for the whole series.

Desert Punk isn't really meant to be taken seriously. Hell, the characters don't even take what happens very seriously.

It's very perverted, I won't lie to you, but in the episodes that the resident busty women doesn't appear in are hilarious (Not that the episodes with her in them aren't funny, they're funny in a different way.)

I saw a little bit of episode 2-3 and was hooked. The whole nonsense in the series is a nice change of pace of the whole "Just as planned" bullshit that goes on in a lot of anime today.

Plus the dub cast is awesome.

My brother went and got Platinum today, which was kinda cool. Now I have my own little protege that I can teach my vast amount of knowledge to and know that when he's kicking every non-hacker's ass at his school, I was the one responsible Plus it's kinda fun to teach him all the stuff and actually have something in common while not being completely and overly abused (though, Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts 'n Bolts would've been the game he got if it weren't for the fact the box said the multiplayer was online ).
