I picked up the D-Arts Rock man figure from my local hobby shop the other day. Like the D-Arts X and Zero (MK-2) it's very detailed and has some nice accessories (extra hands, faces, buster shot effects in this case) but it's easily the most disappointing of the series that I own so far. D-Arts rock man feels like it's made of very cheap plastic that just has no weight to it at all unlike Zero (Mk2) and X who have some heft to them. Also the potability isn't nearly as impressive, Rock man can't assume a neutral stance at all, and his arm and foot poseability is very limited. The only positive to this is his joints are well covered keeping his sculpt nice and smooth.
The other positive of this pack is that he comes with a possible rush and a met (the met doesn't pose at all but you can remove it's helmet.) Rush is a surprisingly good figure with leg, head and tail poseability, however you can't move his legs to the left or right just forward and backward although considering him being an accessory I can kinda forgive that. Like Rock Man both accessories are well sculpted and true to their source material.
All in all I get the feeling the limited poseability and cheap feeling plastic on rock man is a result of the accessories in order to keep costs down, it's easily the worst D-Arts Rock Man figure so far (or at least the ones I own). Oddly I don't regret buying it, It's nice to have a rock man figure on my shelf along side my MMX ones but I admit I expected more.
