But they're in the poses they make when they finish transforming (With the exception of moon, she's the only one that it makes sense for her to look angry) what could they be hiyah-ing?

Be sure to take a look at the madness of my collection as well.

I'm almost to 100 actual figures not counting doubles or accessory packs.

More Pokemon D-Arts apparently on the way.

I'm not too keen on that Lucario though.

With some patience, I can get Mewtwo to stand on his own.  I really highly doubt I'll be able to balance Lucario enough to do so, though.  He looks back-heavy.

My problem is the hands honestly.

Those joints means severely reduced articulation, like shitty US toy articulation.

It should still be able to do an Aura Sphere... Technically that's all that matters.

My friend bought me Figurearts Zero Super Saiyan Goku for my early b-day/x-mas gift. I gotta say, it's pretty sweet. Not poseable, but the detail & effects are pretty awesome.

I picked up the D-Arts Rock man figure from my local hobby shop the other day. Like the D-Arts X and Zero (MK-2) it's very detailed and has some nice accessories (extra hands, faces, buster shot effects in this case) but it's easily the most disappointing of the series that I own so far.  D-Arts rock man feels like it's made of very cheap plastic that just has no weight to it at all unlike Zero (Mk2) and X who have some heft to them. Also the potability isn't nearly as impressive, Rock man can't assume a neutral stance at all, and his arm and foot poseability is very limited. The only positive to this is his joints are well covered keeping his sculpt nice and smooth.

The other positive of this pack is that he comes with a possible rush and a met (the met doesn't pose at all but you can remove it's helmet.) Rush is a surprisingly good figure with leg, head and tail poseability, however you can't move his legs to the left or right just forward and backward although considering him being an accessory I can kinda forgive that. Like Rock Man both accessories are well sculpted and true to their source material.

All in all I get the feeling the limited poseability and cheap feeling plastic on rock man is a result of the accessories in order to keep costs down, it's easily the worst D-Arts Rock Man figure so far (or at least the ones I own). Oddly I don't regret buying it, It's nice to have a rock man figure on my shelf along side my MMX ones but I admit I expected more.  :\

Somebody at Bandai messed up and now Venus is coming before Jupiter.

And since Venus has the Sailor V mask, that hurts the possibility of getting an actual Sailor V figure.

Oh well, I wanted Jupiter most but I can wait a little longer I guess.

I hope Bandai gets around to making more GenI Pokemon.  I want my own super-posable Runaway.

I can't imagine they wouldn't do more pokemon.

That [parasitic bomb] prints money.

But if Lucario sucks they might lose any good will they had with the Gen 1 guys.

We'll see when he's released.  I may buy him regardless, just to check out his articulation.

I assume that Lucario will come with an Aura Prune, so they can fire prunes at each other! 8D

Wow, that "mask" looks even more ridiculous than I remember it. Gotta love those 90s concepts of Magical Girls "conceiling" their true identities. Cutey Honey and pretty much every PreCure girl do a much better job at that. Oh well...

Speaking of S.H. Figuarts, is there any type of base that can be used for these? I feel that my Lelouch could really need one, though I doubt I could even mount him onto one with that big ass cape of his.

Really? Its only that way in the anime I think, the manga was basically just a mask with nothing to cover the eyes.

Anyway, if Lelouch as a back hole use a figma stand or something, otherwise you'll have to get one of Bandai's stands with the clamps.

I never mentioned, and I only JUST remembered to look for this, but my statue number for the 25th anniversary silver Rock/X statue is 0862. (plastic film was even still on it lol)

anyone else here get the statue? what numbers?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I was also refering to the fact that the transformation of magical girls usually just involves a change of clothes, yet nobody can tell it's them when they are in and out of transformation, which happened A LOT in Sailor Moon (Uranus and Neptune, the Amazoness Quartet, Starlights etc). Cutey Honey and most PreCure protagonists at least also have a change in their hairstyles (and hair color!) and occasionally eyecolor to conceal themselves.

As for Lelouch, he has no hole in the back, hence why I was asking if there are specific stands for S.H. Figuarts that use some sort of clamp or whatever to hold onto.
