I am going to walk into a Gamestop tomorrow without a prior pre-order for the game, try to [i.e. battle my wallet conscience and] buy it for a console I don't even own, and wait in the hopes that someone will get me said console, or life sees fit to let me actually save some money from my current job towards it...

Yeah, I'm boned out of the Day 1 madness.

Technically, tomorrow is just the shipping date. Most stores won't actually get it (or in other words, truly put it up for sale) until Wednesday.

Of course, if certain places, like Lou's place sell it early...

Any way, my Asian Copy (PS3) should be here by Wednesday as well. Too bad my USB Saturn Pad probably won't be here until next week at the earliest.

thats what i was gonna do yesterday but my bro in law and me got in to a fight cause hes got a 360 and 1 controller and i dont it was fun but i lost so i gotta wait till it goes down by $1 to get it

We still need to talk about the soundtrack. I'll just rephrase my previous statement's:

Overall it's really good. A lot of tracks are just remixed version of classical themes. Some turned out good, others not. The really interesting parts would be the new tracks.

For example Fei-Long's and Seth's themes. I really love these two.

Confirmed release date so far for the PC version is sometime in June. Jesus Christ, July can't come fast enough.

Someone live-streamed the Japanese version a week ago on Mogulus, and the game had Language selection for text and voice. ^^

this is actually my first Street Fighter. and by god, does it show. i'm so used to faster gameplay styles, SFIV feels clunky to me right now. i'm spanning projectiles and sweeps to beat Arcade.

the opening song is awkward. but the rest of the tracks so far sound great.

the opening movie is beautiful, and so are the anime scenes before and after Arcade. the graphics are really good, too. i'm just about over the beefy Hulk look everyone has.

just watched The Ties That Bind. i loved it. character design is top notch, and the fights scenes were really good.

but i have mixed feelings about Rueben Langdon as Ken. the voice works, but it sounds a little too much like Dante. the dub is great on the whole, though.

Played a good deal,honestly, I REALLY want to get better. It is really fun and can get rather intense (in this case I can die alot at medium mode), though i'm also learning bits and bits of El Fuerte...and god, got to Zangief...he's dangerous

, but aside from my ass whooping (have yet to get to Seth, and my cousin says he a whole load of pain). It is definitely fun, can feel somewhat clunky but...it's also not. I just need to get better.

I've been hearing a lot of bad things about Seth. However, I'm sure of one thing, it can't be any worse than what us SNK gamers are used to

LOL, as soon as I read your message, I tried looking at my usual anime sources for a decent rip of the SF4 OVA, and lo and behold, it hasn't been more than what? 48 hours? And the 360 version of the game already seems to have found its way to the depths of the intertubes.

I just hope some generous soul will take the trouble to rip the OVA for us peasants who don't have a next generation console.
