My hype for this game has reached astronomical proportions and I'm more of the passive fan... I only wish if I could partake in the release day madness, but alas, no PS3/360 and the PC port doesn't seem to be coming around for quite some time.

Either way, game looks excellent and will be bought by me come hell or high waters.

A friend of mine preordered it, and it's supposed to arrive next 19th, and I get to meet him on the 21st in japanese class, so I'm going to spend the day at his place after we're done to sweat out my game fever with SF4.

makes two of us my bro in law has a 360 but bein stingy so i have to buy SF4 and a cont. to play on it but it will happen

Heh...I think I may end up probably using Rose, if Console-characters are allowed in competitive play.

Failing that, there's always the likes of Balrog (the Spanish Ninja) and Gouki/Akuma as nice stand-bys.

My only thing? If most of y'all only have 360, that means I won't be able to fight you guys any time! And who knows when that PC port will arrive (which reportedly DOES allow 360 owners and PC players to fight each other)...

Ah well.....my Asia version of SF4 should be here in a couple of days....can't wait.

I couldn't remember if you had a PS3 or not, Blues....but if you....then it's ON! As soon as my Asian copy arrives, and your Domestic copy reaches you!

On another, slightly-related note:

So, another FG that I've been watching heavily, KOF 2002 UM, is set to come out on Japanese PS2s in two weeks. Can't wait!

But the interesting thing? It turns out that the LAST secret character in the game is....

....WAIT FOR IT....

GUILE. Yes, Guile. Circa his appearance in SvC:Chaos.

Along with that, plans to also announce that Guile will basically be a preview for what is also to come....SvC: Chaos UM.

Dunno what that may entail for any further Capcom and SNK related dealings, but at least we're getting a remake/re-tooling of a game that NEEDED it in the worst way.
