Looks like we're going to have to wait it out a bit longer for info regarding the new Rockman game:

According to Heat Man's sources, the March issue of Coro Coro Comics contained no info whatsoever about the new title, not even a hint or two. In addition, the preview for the next issue (April) makes no indication of any new info either, just promises for more SSR3 coverage.

There's a high possibility the game will be revealed in the May issue--the very issue that will announce the boss contest winner. And yet, there's also a chance we could hear something outside of Coro Coro, after all, we still haven't heard anything from Nintendo Dream...

Aww... for me tho, I'd like it to be ANY kind of Rockman game, a side-scrolling one would be best. ^^

BN and SF had some nice designs, I like the artist (DMC, Phoenix Wright and MMX8 guy).

So I'd be happy about new concept arts and stuff, even though I don't play these games.

Any way, once again, I'm with Vix. While I'll be willing to give the benefit of the doubt to almost any type of Rockman game, my heart will always yearn for another stylish side-scroller Rockman, or a new DASH.

Hell, if it MUST have "Hobby-style" (EXE, Ryuusei) aspects attached, I say, why not try and go for something like attaching a CV:SOTN style gameplay to a Rockman Zero-style engine?

Everybody would stand to win! Those who want their hobby-style collect-a-thons will have what they desire, but we of the side-scroller brotherhood will have the kind of gameplay we want to sink our teeth into. They could even have a "Vs." mode that could actually be a competent mode, if Inti was at the helm.


On the other hand....I still wonder about "Scramble Battle"....

I think EXE because we got Megaman 9 already, i hope to see Torando, Splash, Galaxy looks like X(

theres a difference though, Classic never ended, EXE already established a concrete ending, with a "Battle network end" after the credits.

I'll just take my bet and say the contest is about Mega Man 10.

Now that they've recreated the classic MM engine they should be able to bring up game after game after game. What should stop them? A breakdown in sales.

I think they should try something new.
not another series necessarily, but with one of the still active ones. hopefully X9, L3, and maybe BN7. maybe, just maybe. I mean, they alreay came out with MM9, so why dont they get started on working on another one of their MM series?

Let's see.. If it's a new series, it might be a new one that is a true-to-form RPG series. that would be intresting. If we get a MM10, X9, or Dash 3, then'll that will still be fine with me.
