I have similar condition too, when people get near me I hear static come off them, like I've got 6th sense or something, BUUT it doesn't happen when people sneak up on me.

Mine is the same. I haven't gotten an eye exam for a few years, mostly because I didn't have the insurance to help pay for it. Now I do, and I seriously need to get some money saved up to do so (Because I know I'm going to need new glasses).

Uhm... how do I explain. When I scream/ shriek my voice seems to split in two, a high pitch and a low pitch. I have no idea how that happens. O.o
