The series is confirmed to be noticeably darker than the first anime. To be expected, since it's adapted off of the manga.

Alright, so to summarize episode 1:
-Very nice filler
-Nice foreshadowing for the huge and important things to come
-Armstrong is as awesome (and sparkly) as ever
-Poor Isaac, you feel even worse for him if you already read the manga

-Nice OP and ED

Looks like the next episode is flashbacks.

Spoilers for the new chapter
[spoiler]- The first line of the spoiler definitely is related to Roy vs Envy
- In theory, Roy should be burning him, however he transforms into Hughes, thinking that Roy wouldn't burn him
- Roy turns to him and shouts out: "Hughes is dead! He can't be here!"
- Envy manages to get out of the flames, and turns to face Riza
- Changes into Roy and calls her.
- Riza points her gun against Roy!Envy and calls her by name
- Riza turns to him and says: The colonel calls me Riza only if we are alone.
- Envy then replies: "You are that close?"[/spoiler]
Roy is a [tornado fang]ing win

All of the OPs for the first series were amazing with Rewrite being the best one no doubt (and Link from the Movie). Still though, agreed on this new one being amazing for the new series.
