and on the second picture, you can see that Patty's hi ougi can summon all sort of things, including Barbatos.

I hope she can summon Jade and Zellos together

Was watching a stream last night of the PS3 version in action. I really didn't see to much different until they got the boat. Even then, it only seemed like Patty was shoehorned into the scenes and some minor dialog was added just to make it less jarring from the original story. That said, the boss on the Atherum was pretty cool. Even on Easy Mode, the player got pretty badly messed up by it.

Obviously they ain't gonna rewrite the story. The differences can't be THAT big, otherwise everyone would go crazy for having a half-complete game.

But if you're someone who loves optional quests and bosses you will have your fun with this.

Well, I wasn't expecting a grand change of things, but I was expecting a little more changes, at least with a new character involved.

To be fair though, it was only the start of the second part (of three) of the game and Patty only just joined. Some larger changes could be around the corner. Anyway, the player apparently stopped after the Yuri vs. Flynn battle and before that, explored a brand new dungeon.

It is actually Albel's best friend and a prince of some country.

He might be the Asch of this tales though.

I thought it was ridiculous that Flynn now summons a small laser beam from space. Now he has that.

And people were afraid he'd be just another generic Tales of Magic Swordsman.

I saw them pull of Yuri's 2nd Mystic Arte. Can't help but think that it's one of those I'll never use. It looks pretty weak compared to Savage Wolf Fury.

they buffed flynn quite alot
He is way faster than he was before and some of his 360 artes got slightly altered to be faster as well
and Patty is just a powerhouse now

She knows Double Cast. That scares me if her and Rita both overlimit and both use Tidal Wave.

And Flynn... man, someone had to be reading forums if they buffed him to the point of being probably one of the best Magic Sword class characters in the series.

That's pretty impressive already. Patty's sure has a lot of variations.

The lack of a Magic Swordsman in Vesperia made me sad, but if I can get my hands on this version, I'm sure I'll enjoy using Flynn.

In three forms, no less. It makes use of the otherwise [tornado fang]ing useless Aer Krene locations on the 360 version.

I knew there was more to the locations than previously thought.
