Hm... that's not what I'd call very good at all, especially considering the 360's install base. At the same time, the 360 isn't what I'd exactly call the "Kingdom of RPGs" That title usually falls in line with the PlayStation family... more so PlayStation 2.

Yep... looks like Guy now knows how its like to be on the receiving end of it... or a bootleg version of it. All it needed was an exploding orb of death. Pretty cool he's a secret boss, though.

Translation of the text from the official website:

"The people, blessed with the power of Mana, live their lives happily in the world of Granide.
An old legend goes that once the peace of this world is disturbed, the World Tree would produce a brave hero, the 'Descender.'

In Granide, there is a known guild called the 'Van Eltia' which has a ship as its base. A young girl, Kanonno, who is a member of this guild witnesses a strange occurence to the World Tree, a light from it reaching the heavens.

From the sky, a certain youth appears, and drops off on the deck.
However, our hero apparently lost his memories upon the impact of falling from the sky. He doesn't know anything, be it who he is, his motives, nor his memories.

Even still, he is a Descender, brought upon to this world, its peace beginning to be disturbed."

We got a better look at the Purple-haired Red and Yellow eyed kid that could be the final boss or rival to the descender. And his design looks 10x better than Widdershin! And hopefully an awesome personality to match.

Namco is really putting a lot of effort into this game!

OK folks, after spending a good deal of my life with the fun yet flawed Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of The New World and lacking the funds or opportunity to get an Xbox360 for Vesperia, I have to ask everyone, what should I search out in the meantime to fill that "Tales of" craving?

Also, has anything been revealed about Tales of Wii as yet? I needs info dammit!

Of the English release ones, I suggest Tales of the Abyss... because Legendia is awful and feels unfinished, but I think you know that (the voice acting cuts out around 50% through the game)

Otherwise, pick up Tales of Phantasia on PS1 from your local... uh... "skull n bones" website and patch it with the English translation patch from AbsoluteZero. Good stuff there. I have it on my PSP. Bonus points if you played Symphonia.

I agree with VC, that was an epic opening for Radiant Mythology 2, especially with all the cross-character interaction. Sucks that the awesome japanese singing will probably be replaced with a not-as-satisfying lead guitar instead, as per Jap-to-US Tales standard..
