Argh, the more I hear about this game, the more I'm haunted by the fact that we had the cartridge and the letter, but no NES. Ah well, when my bro gets his Wii points card, I'll just VC it.

So, how many times has anyone died on any specific stages lately?

So far, ...around worlds 4-7, it's normal for me to use around 6-8 balloons, whereas I know I used around 90+ in total. on 4-K, 5-K and now, 6-K.

Lou & I had a chance to play this yesterday. It's seriously everything I could ever hope for in a new DKC game, and much more. DKC truly has returned.

One of my favorite favorite things about the game is when you get to the Continue screen, and Donkey Kong just bangs his fists angrily into the ground with a quick yell. I find that so funny.

Yeah I do the same thing...although those K levels sure can be, "lol we [tornado fang]'d you, son." on those puzzle piece locations (save for 8-K).  It's still rewarding either way.

I've only played through the first jungle level so far and I agree. It stands right next to Super Mario Galaxy 2 for quality.
