Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. I think I prefer this over Evangelion because it's, happier? I've never seen an anime like this before. This is the sorta' thing I would've loved as a kid.

I don't know what I'm doing with my evening. Something about a comic book launch.

Gundam 00, first season;

At first I was like 'I'm here to watch Gundam, not post 9/11 ******** and then 'I would care about this anime more if there were less characters' and then in the end I was like 'Oh. Oh. This.. That was really quite good'. I actually cared about the characters in the end and that is always a good thing.

Then I watched some SEED and in comparison to 00 it's absolute drivel.

Still watching ZZ. And I started on some Space Runaway Ideon, sorta' because of its reputation in relation to Hideaki Anno.

Some black leather chucks / converse shoes. They are gnarly.

And some chocolate and some bread.

Ugh. Today, I bought;

-A canvas,
-Some flesh tint acryllic paint
-A chalkboard / picture frame hybrid for my parents' wedding,
-a card for afformentioned gift,
-and some Nike's. They are not a big deal but they look like this;

My 1/100 MG Turn A Gundam and my Super Mario mug make a cameo.

The Social Network.

I already hate having a facebook profile. it's a bit worse now that I know that the (dramatised) origins lie in;

Popularity contests,
Chauvinism,
Heterosexism (Same thing?),
and Money.

Seriously. All that stuff at Harvard and things. Who needs that much money?

And it still weirds me out how US Universities are taken so seriously. This isn't my country but, here in New Zealand, it's just like, 'Yeah I went to University once. Have a degree. Now I work in a cafe full time". Nobody really cares nor does it seem to make a difference to anybody's lives.

Going back to Mario Kart Wii for some unknown reason, despite the fact that this game is the worst of the Mario Kart series.

I might go play some of that. Was playing it with my flatmate, and I was sorta' disturbed with how outta' practice I am.

I just thought RnR never did well because, like I said, capitalism. Maybe. I mean, after following every bit of it's progress from Protodude's, I just don't think there was a market for hobby style games anymore.

It was like, as soon as EXE has ended, it was as if they expected the fans to buy all three versions of the first game, along with all three-ish versions of the new accessories, along with all the compatible card merchandise, despite the fact that they'd just created a completely new franchise installment with all new characters and battle style which as many people have mentioned, maybe wasn't the best compared to the original side view.

That being said I originally expected something along the lines of Network Transmission to appear on the Wii.

Well Zeta Gundam was good;
Over half of the main cast died yay.
And say what you will about Gundam ZZ, but I'm preferring to watch this light hearted stuff over the usual Gundam series which just take themselves too seriously.

What is this.

I doubt they'd have an RnR game on 3DS, ever. I mean, didn't the series do quite badly, or something like that? I mean, I really loved RnR, but even I still consider the whole thing to be a big capitalist slap in the face.

Maybe not that bad but something around those lines.

Does anybody know where I can get some sprites of 8bit cherry blossoms / sakura? Just because, I don't wanna' have to use a standard GameBoy Zelda tree sprite and turn it pink. The only instances of sakura in 8bit I could think of were from Bomberman Max but I can't be bothered getting to the level that has them.

"You are going to fail, you are not going to graduate, you will not stay at home and sponge off us because we will disown you"...AGAIN. I've not had a great week (Said I did... I was LYING.) If you really think that then try to encourage me to do my work (Or help me... I won't ask for it but I might still need it) instead of complaining about assignments and checking my grades on fridays.Believe it or not, I really do want to pass. I've been having some troubles lately though, I'm a little stressed out and I just want this year to be over... I'm sick and tired of the Guilt trips I've been getting put through. It doesn't help that I have a job, hardly any friends, no license, and that it seems anybody I get to be friends with (Or in the case of girls, want to spend more time with.) all seem to go away and NEVER come back... EVER.

tl;dr: I want to pass but I seriously need some help, psychologically, socially, and with Homework.

if it makes you feel any better, I'm not sure how I'm going to, or at least how I am going to feel about graduating, or when. Even then, I have no idea what's gonna' happen to my life after that point in time.

Then I can't help but regret every decision I have ever made which has gotten me to this point.

Just happened to stumble on this 10 hours before the auction ended. It sat at 99 cents all day and with 2 minutes left someone tried to challenge me. I set my maximum bid at $22.67 with 5 seconds left, and it ended at $22.50!  >0<

Woahhhhhhh.

-Reese's peanut butter cups

OKAY; So the story is that they've just started selling those here in NZ. I tried the white chocolate ones. White chocolate + peanut butter = instant addiction. I never should have tried them.

Meanwhile, I bought;

-Super Mario Collection for the Wii, thing, and
-the pictures for sad children book. But not for me. For somebody else. Maybe I will pick up my own copy one day maybe but I'm trying to save money.

I pretty much stopped reading webcomics in general. They're far too time consuming for me to keep track of. That's the exact reason I stopped writing them. Might try picking both reading and writing back up soon, there's some pretty legitimately cool stuff out there I know.

The majority of them are very overwhelming yes.

My excuse is that I haven't been fond of the Idea of Trick-or-Treating ever, and I stopped completely after 4th grade.

When my parents first forced me to go trick-or-treating, I remember thinking to myself how much of a disaster this was gonna' be, and that I'd surely annoy the adults of every house I went to. And it was and I did and that's my story.

Oh look, saw a trailer for Paranormal Activity 2. What better way to make us forget about a shitty movie by making a sequel about kids opening doors, people bitching, and lots of windy corridors, electrical issues, and dumb [parasitic bomb].

I thought it was okay.

I watched Dr. Strangelove.

It was disturbing and frustrating.

That webcomic interests and terrifies me.

Nobody reads pictures for sad children? I know that I like it less now that John Campbell is doing experimental things after abandoning the plot some time ago.

But that and his hourly comic have made a large impact on my life. Mainly to do with the way I think and see things. And it inspired me to actually do something with my own comics.

Can I just.. Reccomend The Sarah Jane Adventures to everyone? If you haven't watched it already?

It does not have the budgetary production values as Doctor Who. How and ever; it is one of the most loveliest shows I have ever watched. There are moments that make me very teary. Liz Sladen is just hypnotizing to watch. It also has the advantage of being a kids show, thus, the absurdity of everything and any plot holes go completely unnoticed, because everything else by comparison is just so fantastic.

I cannot believe it took me this long to watch the show. I have been missing out.

Thoughts?

This is relevant to the thread because it's a Doctor Who spinoff.

Hm. All of this anime you are talking about..

When I am done with all of Gundam (ALL of it) I can watch some real anime I suppose.

I'm getting annoyed that even the likes of Zeta Gundam is composed of fifty episodes. You could summarise the whole plot in ten. C'monnnnnn compilation movies.

When I give myself the time, I play my copy of Pokemon White, briefly, before I leave it running in my DS for a while until I wanna' use some other application and I can't be bothered waiting for a chance to save, so I just go back to where I started.

Not really, just a case of "it's not really celebrated around here". Here, the most I've seen done is to allow kids/students to come to school in a costume and the teachers may give out some candy, and the obvious costume parties here and there, don't think I've seen any trick or treating ever.

It's honestly just another day here for the most part.

My excuse is that Halloween has never been a big thing in either the UK or NZ, so, uhh, well there's my excuse to stay inside all day.
