Original / Re: M10 theories
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:00:57 AM »
It really depends when it comes to the game giving us closure. Inafune said himself the reason he hasn't put closure on the Classic series because he didn't want it to end. If Wily dies, the Classic series may very well be over.
I am very interested to see if that Roboenza disease is related to the Maverick virus. If Wily has been working on Zero for a while, it's possible the disease could have spread through Wily's already evil robots to other robots across the world. However, this theory would mean the original Mega Man somehow stopped the virus, and it didn't come back until Sigma caught it.

Rockman Series / Re: What was the first Megaman game you played?
« on: December 31, 2009, 06:55:49 AM »I never even beat the classic games. The classic games are sorta difficult for the average person unless you play them about two billion times. Then you still get screwed over in Wily's Castle another thousand times.

After playing Mega Man 2 only a few times, you can get to the point where taking out any of the first eight robot masters with a regular Mega Buster is child's play. Well, in the NES version at least.
Anyhow, at the moment I've been playing A Boy and His Blob for the NES. But I've also been playing Mega Man X for the Super Nintendo, and Mega Man 2 when I feel like passing the time.

I see very little discussion of my favorite Zelda game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. However, no one really does know about it anymore. =/ As well as the fact I haven't really looked hard enough through this thread.
The new Zelda game is quite exiting, I just hope it doesn't try to be too gimmicky like Twilight Princess was for the Wii, kinda.

Haha, one of my best friends forced me to sit through K-On with her, once. Needless to say watching anime with her was a great way to score points, but I enjoyed it, too.
Alright, random picture.

Phantasy Star Online is the only MMO I've played, and the only MMO I will ever play.

If there's anyone I can recognize from this site, it's Vixy. Nice to actually meet you, and I look forward to getting to know you.
I became a lot less discouraged when my friend came across a copy, which is why I thought I'd ask around.

Mega Man 2 is what turned me on to the series. However, I knew of the first Mega Man before that.

Blackhook: You see, I go to what one would call a 'nerd school' or something along those lines. Correct grammar is the first thing you need to have, though many people in a few of my classes don't.
And I must say, the Servbot icons are quite silly, but what's with the Phoenix Wright Objection icon ( )? Not that I don't love the Ace Attorney series.
Hello, Dr. Wily II. I've gone around this forum for months looking for information, and you are one of the people I remember seeing.

I am aware that Rockmen R is a doujin game, but I have my way of getting things from Japan to America. And I'm sure it would be a nice piece of my collection if I had it.
I suppose I don't REALLY need it, though. And nice to meet you, Irgendein. I will try my best to follow the rules.

Hey guys. How're you doing?
Anyways, since I was but, iunno, four years old I've been a HUGE fan of this series. Classic Mega Man was actually one of the very first games I've ever played, and the Mega Man Franchise is definitely my favorite.
As of now, I own pretty much every game that was released to North America, but I've started a Rockman/Mega Man collection, which is why I joined this site. Although I also am looking forward to befriending all of you.
And I have searched around the board and found a few things, but it seems Rakuten is out of stock. If anyone can find me a copy that ships to America of Rockmen R: Dr. Wily's Counterattack, also known as Rockmen R: Dr. Wily no Gyakushuu?
Once I finish that, I'm aiming for Rockman and Forte for the Wonderswan, and I know where to find that.
And please, excuse my grammar. I'm not used to being up at 10 in the morning when I have off.
