So my Dad's phone broke last week and he now has a Galaxy S6 Smart Phone. He already learned how to call people and he learned how to anwser calls faster than Mom did since it admittedly is not the most intuitive thing.

I didn't tell you guys I upgraded to an HTC One M8... Then had problems with it. First off the mic was broken, second off my signal was inconsistent and despite having bars I couldn't call or send texts for hours at a time and my data didn't work altogether.

I fixed all of that by myself during a lengthy call with my service provider who was absolutely no help. >:T

Turns out the mic was literally, LITERALLY blocked because the holes in the bottom speaker were drilled badly and I just had to poke out some of the metal. The service issue was because for some reason when they set up the phone they set it to use CDMA instead of GSM?? (IE non-sim instead of actually using the sim card)

Anyways, thanks for nothing. I'll be sure to fix my own phones instead of making sure you get paid for a job you're CLEARLY no good at. C: The phone works fine now. I love it. Best phone I have ever owned.

I used to have one of those *really* old flip-top phones. My dad gave me one of his old smartphones about a month back, and I don't think I've had any reason to use the thing yet. Most of the time I completely forget that I even HAVE a mobile.

I'm still using my cheapo LG Optimus Fuel. Gonna get a bigger memory card for it, though, because the storage is crap.

You all complain about your dinky internal storage. My phone has all of a gig. One single gig. And most of it is taken up by the pre-installed apps.

You guys merely inherited the memory shortage. I was born into it. :B

Wal-Mart Family Mobile, which is basically T-Mobile except cheaper because it's LITERALLY T-Mobile except they gave my problems to Wal-Mart.

My last phone was... 512MB I think? And it didn't write apps to the SD Card.

Mine doesn't write apps to the SD card that I know of. I think it only sends pics there. And I regularly delete images and have removed a couple apps I don't use.

Unfortunately Media Monkey is kind of weird so I can't convert them to MP3 because bullshit, I'm doing WMA which is pretty much almost the same.

Believe it or not, but I can actually use my (free) video converter to batch convert MP3 to OGG. And it actually has smaller filesize, which is why I usually use it in all my gam...

I went to compare filesizes.

The OGGs are bigger.

Yeah see that's because you're uncompressing your stuff while in the original format before you converted to OGG they were properly compressed.
