[spoiler]If in English, enjoy the SECOND split performance between Amanda Miller and Erin Fitzgerald. The way the two do Junko and Touko/Genocider is a lot of fun.[/spoiler]
Yeah, it's good, solid fun. However, it has nothing on the games it was inspired by.
But, you know, I think that's the problem with how I was viewing this the entire time; how Danganronpa lives up to those other handheld VNs, rather than its own personal quality. If I view it as the latter-- its own franchise, barred from the influence of other games-- I can appreciate it much more.
So, I'll start appreciating it for what it is.
And yes, I'm playing on English.
[spoiler]I absolutely love Amanda's performance as Junko. SUCH [tornado fang]ing VOCAL RANGE. The whole time, I was like, "wait, all these voices are the same VA?"
Good [parasitic bomb]. I haven't reached Genocider's part yet, but that sounds like a lot of fun, and I was
seriously hoping those two psychopaths would converse with each other.[/spoiler]
And I didn't know she was called Genocider, since her name was always stated as Genocide Jill/Jack.
