At least it wasn't a solid door, I've done that a few times in the dark before during times my dad closes the hallway door for some good forsake reason while going to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Unfortunately, it wasn't six hours straight through. I had about four hours, and then crashed for another two. And I don't think it was even a full additional two hours.

So, the cats found two baby blue jays. The birds were rescued and we made a makeshift nest for them, and they're sleeping in it right now.
