It's still snowing. A check on the radar shows that it'll still be snowing. While it's not blizzard conditions, it's still snowing.

My parents said that I'd be held in contempt of the court if I failed to show up.

That's the only reason I bothered coming.

Nine times out of ten, they really don't care. I've yet to attend Jury Duty. First notice I threw in the garbage. Second notice I requested a later date cause they wanted me to go during my bro's wedding. Still have yet to receive a third notice.

I did jury duty once. It's actually not bad. Plus, if you get it on a day where you had to work, your job still has to pay you--so that's nice. It's mainly a lot of a sitting around and most likely you won't end up on a jury. It's only two weeks and in the two weeks I had jury duty, I only got called into the courthouse one day. Plus, once you attend jury duty, you're excused from it for ten years. So there's that.
