First time? Lean forward so your shins are in constant contact with the front of your boots and keep your arms in front of you. Angle your skis to make a plow formation, as it'll help you maintain a slow speed until you gain a bit more confidence.

When getting off the lift, lean forward to maintain balance and allow yourself to slide off the chair and down the little slope.

Don't be afraid to lift your feet as if you're rollerblading—they're not glued to the slope.

I went down a white slope when I'm only competent for green and blue slopes.

Yeah, I fell down most of it and had bruises everywhere.

For smash you just scan it over the wiiu pad and it starts leveling up as you play right? I don't think I've ever used it outside having a nice Peach figure on my self.

Not only that it learns too, one time someone entered a Fox Amiibo as a joke when someone found it at a local tournament event. That Amiibo got 2nd place in the tournament.
