I remember my Anime Club had something of an elitist weeb who didn't think we cared about Anime enough. She was surprised the majority of us didn't know some obscure thing, or recognized some seiyuus and stuff like that, she always looked at use weird.
One time started this one long ass debate about the fact that a flier from our club that was I think 20 years old or so used the terminology animes instead of anime even though back then anime was still a very obscure thing back then and it went on for like 40 posts on Facebook basically telling her who the hell gives a [parasitic bomb] about an old ass flier using an incorrect term before anime became maistream. She was kind of abrasive in a weird way, like I said more elitist bitchy than overly giddy and gross, and surprisingly she was always dressed in nice business type wear too. She was just strange.
