If I recall, Ben Franklin came up with DST, so we should blame him.

But, then again, I wouldn't be too harsh on him. He was a wild womanizing party animal who wrote a book on farting proudly.

Yeah Ben Franklin was the one who made that. Didn't he also have Kidney Stones that he tried to aliviate by going to the bathroom upside down?

The farting essay was written as a letter to the Royal Academy of Sciences and was intended to mock some of the more frivolous things they were pursuing. So, Ben Franklin suggested that they pursue research into improving the odor of farts.

Yeah, I'll get into his details later. A lot of research went into making sure his cerebral palsy symptoms were correct for the type he has.
