And here we are, a complete list of all character changes following the "time-skip". Haven't decided what sort of time-scale I'm looking at for it, but if any of them ever show up in an RP again, this'll be how they are.
Also, Doc, if you're NOT interested, just let me know and I can work something out for the relevant characters.
Xhai
- Is now back in his Demi-Falcon form.
- Physical Changes: Enhanced balance, reflexes, eyesight and lung capacity. No obvious physical changes besides his eyes and feathers (on the back of his head, mixed in with his hair).
- Powers: Air Manipulation: Can manipulate wind to deflect/reflect blows and projectiles, insulate himself from electrical attacks (makes him the perfect combat partner for Kai), deoxygenate or vacuumize the air around him and induce rust by oxidizing the air. His aging is also effectively halted due to his new status, and he has a minor healing factor.
- Weapons: No longer has access to his scythe, so fights by creating blades of solid wind around his hands.
- Weaknesses: No longer has access to any of his solar-based powers, his bones were hollowed by his Demi-Falcon transformation, so he's a lot more susceptible to damage, still technically doesn't have any ranged options. Healing factor isn't enough to be much of a help in combat.
- Personality: Less trusting, fighting style has changed from "be flashy and extravagant" to "go straight for the throat", more serious, but softens to his old self around his allies. Has no intention of dying before he sees DW2's head on a pike.
Aaru
- Taken back to Miyuki's home to recover, received ninja training afterwards.
- Physical Changes: Older, hair's longer, still wears her scarf, wears a hooded tunic and traditional ninja garb, still in earthy colours.
- New Abilities: Skilled in
Shinobi-iri (stealth and entering),
Intonjutsu (escaping and concealment),
Hensojutsu (disguise and impersonation) and basic ninpo that allow her to manipulate plants: Camoflage, rudimentary Seismic Sensing and Matter Surfing.
- Weapons: Swapped her rope-dart and yo-yos for a kunai and kusarigama.
- Weaknesses: Still can't talk, physical strength is improved but still limited, can't use ninpo if her hands are tied up, still fairly frail.
Personality: Less focused on shinies, takes a more serious approach to combat and no longer has a problem inflicting serious injuries/death on her enemies.
Leocadia
- Bonded to Saden via the gemstone from her sword.
- Physical changes: None.
- New Abilities: Can assume control of Saden's body during the day, manifests as usual at night, and her sword was reforged to be smaller and lighter than before.
- Weapons: Reforged sword: Changed from hand-and-a-half/broadsword to a smaller
Knightly/Arming Sword.
- Weaknesses: As she's tied to the gemstone serving as Saden's heart, she's more susceptible to damage than previously, has no ranged options, can't stray more than a set distance from Saden. If Saden dies, she dies.
- Personality: Mostly unchanged, but now has a seething hatred of anything associated with DrWilyII.
Bell
- Survived both being attacked by Typhon and being knocked overboard as a result. Woke up in Shu-Fang's mountain village, having been rescued by the villagers. Almost attacked them in a blind rage and eventually underwent training to control her impulses.
- Physical changes: Severe burns to most of her body, now has shorter hair than before.
- New abilities: Thanks to her training, was able to calm herself, mostly. Also studied the human anatomy in detail for the first time and has a working knowledge of pressure points and structural weaknesses common to most humanoid foes.
- Weapons: Still has her boots (weight increased by another 75lbs on each), added a bladed elbow pad.
- Weaknesses: Still a narcoleptic. Even with her new skills, she's still short on ranged options, and her burns cause her frequent discomfort. Still missing an arm.
- Personality: Calmer and far more willing to work as part of a team, and the meditation techniques she's picked up help with both anger management and her sleep problems, to the point where she's merely soft-spoken as opposed to tiredly mumbling everything. She still spends most of her time sleeping though.
Mika
- Survived the airship crash, but lost the use of her left hand due to injury. It's still attached, but paralyzed on its' own.
- Physical changes: Older, hair has grown out to reveal it's natural colour (silver).
- New Abilities: Surviving in the wild for such a length of time has toughened her up. Eventually discovered another abandoned/destroyed Skull Fortress and was able to patch together some odds and ends from the wreckage.
- Weapons: Specially constructed gauntlet over her left hand. Essentially acts as an exoskeleton that lets her move her hand as though it weren't injured. Has a fairly powerful taser concealed in the palm.
- Weaknesses: Physically tougher and stronger due to living rough for so long, but her overall condition has deteriorated due to malnourishment. Still has no actual combat experience.
- Personality: Less naive, but otherwise mostly the same.
Minty
- Damaged during the battle, patched up by Mika after she discovers the Skull Fortress. The only real change here is that xe is much more protective of Mika, to the point where xe'll kill if necessary.
Saden
- Lost her cursed-ruby heart during the battle, survived the crash but practically fell apart afterwards as she was no longer being held together by crystals. The curse on her was lifted after being healed at Shani's temple and she was restored to an actual living, breathing human. Almost died
again due the lack of an
actual heart following this, but was saved when Leo's "soulstone" was used as a replacement.
- Physical changes: Alive again. Her hair's still white, but no longer crystallized, and she's now just extremely pale as opposed to grey-skinned. Her eye is back to its' normal colour, but the one that had been turned to crystal is missing and covered by bandages. Her old armour fell apart while she was being healed, so she now wears a new, lighter set. Eye colour changes depending on whether Saden (brown) or Leo (blue) is the dominant personality.
- New Abilities: Well, she's alive again. She's faster on her feet than before, and shares a body with Leo, who acts as a second set of eyes and ears during battle, and a second blade if it's night.
- Weapons: Now carries two swords. Leo's (the shortsword), and a
Flammenschwert/Flame-Bladed Sword, which she wields herself.
- Weaknesses: Is no longer able to shrug off damage as she could when she was undead, and has lost her crystalline limbs, limiting her movement options. Her new armour isn't as thick as the old set, and if her heart is destroyed, Leo dies too.
- Personality: Happy that she's not a bloodthirsty zombie anymore, and is fine with having Leo's voice in her head compared to the necromancer's. Smiles more often, and acts as the voice of reason following the disaster and subsequent reshuffling of the core group.
Typhon
- Back under DrWilyII's control following the battle, and was upgraded into a smaller, Vile-esque Reploid body.
- Physical changes: Now resembles a black and red version of
this- New Abilities: Smaller, faster, more dakka.
- Weapons: Only has one shoulder-mounted flamethrower now, the other shoulder bearing a missile launcher. Mortar cannons have been replaced by knee-mounted grenade launchers, and his laser-swords have been replaced by wrist-mounted vulcan cannons.
- Weaknesses: More susceptible to damage due to his smaller size and comparatively lighter armour. Not as trigger-happy as before, but still has limited ammunition. Not as strong as he used to be, either.
- Personality: Completely loyal to DrWilyII, otherwise unchanged.
Alastor/Robo-Ky/Kai
- Broke out of his containment pod during the battle, and was forcibly overtaken by Robo-Ky, who had been hiding in Siraj's cybernetics.
- Physical changes: Externally, only his eye colour (Grey -> Yellow), internally, all sorts of minor changes that have turned him into a living (functioning?) dynamo.
- New Abilities: Electrical Generation. He can generate electrical forcefields and is essentially a walking taser. He also uses this to supercharge his new body's self-repair function, making anything short of limb removal or the destruction of his head ineffective at best.
- Weapons: Technically doesn't have any, though his electrically charged punches and abilities may count.
- Weaknesses: Still isn't used to his new body, ineffective at extremely long ranges due to his lack of ranged capabilities. He's also overconfident and rather immature. No longer has access to his knife or rifle.
- Personality: All of Ky's arrogance and ego, combined with the original Alastor's desire to protect his friends and the DW2 Alastor's snarkiness and lack of morals.
Shu-Fang
- Survived the battle, but lost her seal in the process. Otherwise unchanged aside from looking a little dishevelled due to the loss of her coffin, meaning she now has to bury herself during the day
Siraj
- Severely injured by Alastor during the battle, somehow survived the crash. Rebuilt and restored by a rather....eccentric...tech-head after being discovered near death.
- Physical changes: Greatcoat swapped for a leather jacket, now has a large, extremely visible speaker on his chest. Cybernetics are more modern-looking but still visible.
- New Abilities: Lost his scythe, and now wields a guitar hooked up to his core/heart through a port on his neck. Combine with the speaker, and he's effectively weaponized the Power Of Rock.
- Weapons: Does the guitar count? He's able to generate massive shockwaves while playing, while softer rhythms can lull enemies to sleep or induce a healing effect in his allies. He's also capable of causing headaches and other problems for enemies. The guitar itself is also made of a highly durable alloy, so it can be used as a melee weapon if necessary. As an extra, and frankly ridiculous, addition, the guitar case is slightly bulkier than the standard, as it houses both a machine-gun and a
surface-to-air missile launcher.
- Weaknesses: Can't aim his new powers to any real degree, so collateral damage is pretty much a given when he's fighting, still lacks any kind of self-repair or healing factor. He can only carry a limited supply of ammo for his guitar-case, so has to place his shots well to maximise the efficiency of it.
- Personality: Surprisingly, a lot more animated than before. His voice box was fixed, and he
loves his new powers. Still sees Xhai as brother.
Shani
- Survived the battle, and was responsible for getting Alastor and Saden to the Temple of the Frog for healing.
- Physical changes: Hair's a little longer, but otherwise unchanged. She's still regularly mistaken for a guy.
- New Abilities: Greater mastery of her healing and Aura-reading abilities, and she's now able to use the latter to subtly influence the emotions of those around her if she concentrates.
- Weapons: Modified her rifle to add another two barrels, and two new kinds of shells. Green-caps are filled with a poisonous fluid collected from some of the other Frog Aspects, and Pink-caps are filled with healing spells.
- Weaknesses: Same as before.
- Personality: Now has a seething hatred for DrWilyII. Still stalking Xhai. Otherwise unchanged.
Miyuki
- Survived the battle, and returned home with Aaru. Was Aaru's ninjutsu teacher following their recoveries.
- Physical changes: No longer wears her mask, revealing the reason why. An accident with a fireball jutsu during her initial training ended up blowing her lower jaw off, and she had to create a replacement from ice just as she has with her lower legs. Otherwise unchanged.
- New Abilities: Greater mastery of her Yuki-Onna powers. She can create larger weapons with her flash-freezing ability, and has finally mastered a series of basic fire ninpo, having overcome her pyrophobia while rescuing Aaru from the Halcyon.
- Weapons: Lost her katana during the battle, now creates any weapon she needs as the situation demands.
- Weaknesses: Same as before, minus the pyrophobia.
- Personality: Sees Aaru as something of a little sister, has put her assassin work on hold for the time being as well. Otherwise unchanged.
Galen
- Knocked out and captured by Luna during the battle.
- No changes to note, considering he's been inactive the entire time.
Renny
- Survived being knocked off the airship, and wandered aimlessly until she met up with Xhai again. She's a lot more focused on her training now (and a lot less clumsy), and is angry that her friends were attacked, but is otherwise unchanged.
Luna
- Back under DrWilyII's control following the battle.
- Physical changes: Pilot-Suit has been replaced with a
specially-designed, upgraded version designed to augment her physical capabilities, eyes are now red instead of indigo.
- New Abilities: Physical capabilities are doubled from standard when wearing her new suit, Zak-2 has been equipped with a beam pistol, solving the issues it had when fighting at mid-range.
- Weapons: See above, otherwise unchanged.
- Weaknesses: Same as before.
- Personality: Completely loyal to DrWilyII, otherwise unchanged.
