Oh, that twat. I vaguely remember that tweet way back.

But that's his opinion.

And he can't be a twat... he created Okami and some of the best action games ever made.

Honestly, I can name any game I enjoy and find people that dislike it.

Yeah again Kamiya can be a huge ass jerk and petty at times, sometimes it's pretty awesome but sometimes it's not and quite childish.  He has a grudge against Death Battle for making Bayonetta and Dante fight, he utterly hates repeated questions, and he hates Kill la Kill since a huge amount of people asked if he would make a Kill la Kill game.

Kamiya really has no sense of tact and it's really surprising. :o

He has no ill will against Capcom and says that nobody has the right to insult Capcom.

Plenty of people have the right to insult capcom for all the crap they pulled though, kinda hurts his credibility when he sucks up to a pretty shady developer while at the same time pretending any of us should care about his petty problems.

But Inafune he utterly hates, and he went as far as to say MN9 is an insult to Capcom.

Not sure where he gets that idea? MN9 was a direct response to a lack of MM from Capcom, yeah I'm sure there was some desire to stick it to them but an "insult". He's kinda being dramatic there.

Yeah it's really shocking to see a game developer have that kind of behavior despite how many awesome games he's made.

I remember seeing that Death Battle, and while it was AWESOME, I had a feeling Dante was going to win since he has been fighting demons longer than Bayo has slaying monstrous-looking angels (plus Bayo uses demons in battle, so that's another disadvantage against her). Honestly, he should be grateful that both of his characters were featured in a web series just battle it out for fun, but it seems he has way too much worship for Bayonetta than his other works. :\

It's not that, he rather they work together than beat the crap out of each other.

oh boo hoo his weird hair fetish character lost to Dante.

More I learn about the guy the more I want to ignore everything he makes out of spite.  8D

Uh no it's not that he favors Bayo, it's the idea that they fought at all, he doesn't want them to fight.

I think the only one of those that was consistent was Resident Evil (it's biggest "failure" was still a multi-million seller).  Street Fighter was brought back from the dead with SF4, and while Monster Hunter is HUGE in Japan, it was virtually unknown to the western world before Tri, and pretty much took until 4 to get on its feet as a proper multi-region series.

True. But even with the inconsistency, I'm still willing to wager that it makes more than a new MM game.

Fair enough, I just dived back into Gunvolt two days ago and God knows I'm at the edge of my seat waiting for Half Genie Hero.

All I'm saying is that I resent the attitude of Mighty being the "definitive" one, the sole successor on which Mega Man's legacy and fanbase ride.  The only justification for that is Inafune's name being on it.  And you know what?  That's not enough.  The PSP games and MM9 were all mediocre, and Inafune headed all of them.  MM10 was the main reason I thought he might know what the hell he was doing.

Fair enough. I mean, you can't stop rabid fans from being rabid. And while I'm meh on the PSP's MHX, I thought Rockman Rockman, MM9, & MM10 were awesome, and not just because they were the first games to give me Playable Blues.  8D

Already saw that. Can't wait for that to be proven wrong when I get it.

You're unsure if Kamiya is right or not?

I started off thinking that Ray's gameplay was kinda meh...and then I got my first special weapon. I like the fact that her weapons feel FAR more innovative than Beck's, and once mastered, you can really fly through the respective stages. The one that acts like Sonic's homing attack is my personal favorite.

Just beat the game. Holy [parasitic bomb] the final boss kicked my ass. Is that thing even possible buster only? I didn't stand a chance until I started using Brandish.

From what I read from TV Tropes ironically people rag the final boss for having predictable boss patterns, so maybe? :\

Like how bad is that boss fight from your experience?

I'm surprised no one here mentioned the 4 hour long credits.

Beat MN9... took me several tries on the Final Boss until I can beat the first form without taking any damage at all. I was doing alright for the Second Form, but I started to take damage and had to pop a healing item as I was getting close to beating it. The first time I "killed" the boss, the boss popped up from below me and I died because I had low health as I didn't know it was going to do that and I had to reset it.

That was the final phase and after it is the clear... I was ticked when I learned this when I avoided it the second time.

I used Battalion for that fight and it made the fight easier. So much trial and error, but it became easier as I learned the pattern. Though I hated the Xel Blocks in the Final Stage once I figured them out it made it easier to travel through the level, no hand holding but sheesh... I enjoyed the game and now Ray's Story Mode is left.

Boss hits hard and have the Healing Items RESET after each death made this harder at first, but it came into place once I know what to expect. Still difficult regardless.

I don't think any Ubi game had credits that were several hours long.

Comcept just put a new post for those having problems with their product keys. Also there is sadly a delay for Europe when it comes to the Ray Expansion DLC on PS3/PS4.
