Maybe when I finish my random Wonder Trading.   It's also Spanish, so if I for some reason want to raise a Volcarona I could possibly get a shiny, as if.

I have a German Furfrou (Coiffwaff) and a Japanese Furfrou.  I should attempt to breed for shiny with both of them.  Some day.  Maybe.

Still need to raise up my Larvesta.  I have a Swarm Larvesta named Mothra and a Flame Body Larvesta named Tequila.

And here I thought I'd be able to live my entire life without having to resort to the so-called institution of "Having friends and hanging out with them".

And I now come to the realization that nothing is fun anymore. I'd like just ONE person to talk to and play games with, maybe do other stuff with.
Out of curiosity, does talking to people here not count?

Volunteer at your local animal shelter and play with dogs and kitties?   And wash tons of blankets and towels for them?
Do this, perhaps as a dog walker in your area

(also, public Facebook profiles are gross)

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

It kind of does but it's not enough, I know I would go insane if I didn't have my brother staying here too.

It would count if there were coherent discussions.

Since the count of active members is probably >10 and the amount of actual coherent discussions that aren't held in this topic are pretty much nil... you get the point.

As for the animal shelter thing. Tried it once, didn't really click with me but that might've just been because I sat in a room with cats and fell asleep.

As for Facebook, well I only have 9 friends on there, 0 of which really talk to me, and my profile has literally transformed into a big fuckload of Sailor Jupiter. Not the stuff I talk about of course, but again nobody reads it so I could post any old [parasitic bomb] in there, and nobody'd be the wiser. Its hardly a public profile.

Anyway, for people I talk to outside of here. I've got:
-like one or two coworkers, only small talk of course.
-the occasional school friend who happens to be shopping that day and comes in my line. Not much talking there.
-family, and other than one of my uncles I can't really talk to them about stuff I like.

Yep. That's some social life there, more than some people sure, but its [tornado fang]ing barren. No college friends because HAHAHAHAHA that's a funny [tornado fang]ing joke. No work friends because I don't really know anybody there despite being there for a year now.

So yeah, its stuff I could fix myself but knowing me I'll never follow through and continue to blame the rest of the world for my own shortcomings.

I meant public as in using posting under a Public status permission, but okay, I get that.

Hobbies are a thing, I guess. It's weird how for me, there was this knowing no-one in high school with similar interests, to just finding a massive pile of those people in college, plus some people I thought I had mapped out as not being similar but were actually into those things aswell. After I changed programs, I started hanging out with people from classes and it kinda just went from there. Sure, sometimes I'm a little out of the way in terms of distance to where everyone else lives, but there is always somewhere common to meet up.

Might need a little effort, but surely you'll find somebody.

Hobbies are a thing.

Too bad people don't really watch anime, not ones I watch. Nobody collects figures to my knowledge, and its RARE to find somebody who likes video games that doesn't just mean "I play call of duty on my 360 do you like call of duty i also play madden."

Maybe I'm just too cynical.

Oh hey mom tried to take my phone away from me and [tornado fang]'d up the internet again.

As if that'll make me leave.

Reason? Not doing [tornado fang]ing chores. Apparently my weekends don't mean anything to them. Apparently I forced her hand but she seemed real eager to text me with this gem the moment she got up.

I find it MUCH easier to connect with college students, than high school students. Most people were [tornado fang]ing retards in that [parasitic bomb] school.

and its RARE to find somebody who likes video games that doesn't just mean "I play call of duty on my 360 do you like call of duty i also play madden."

Yep. The same exact thing I had to deal with in high school.

I don't know how many times I had to resist a facepalm whenever someone brought up shooters, like it's the only genre of games. Hell, they didn't even mention Madden, just dull grey shooters.

Anyway, you can't find any people in college that you can connect with?

I'm not in school.

I also just now noticed that my image in the last post wasn't cropped properly. What's the point of editing the image if it just spits out the full thing when I put it on imgur?

If Albert Einstein, Issac Asimov, and Carl Sagan came back as zombies, would they need to eat brains?

This is why I suggest checking out local cafes.  I don't mean to go there and eat the food, I mean to go there and hang out.  Go look at some of the events and stop by for them.  See if there are other events at clubs or something.  Not every college hangout is a bar.

As Gettysburg is a college town, we have bistros, cafes, and various clubs.  There's one on Stratton Street that opened recently that I plan to check out.  They have a weekly drum circle.

Also, look into your local arts council.  Being an artist doesn't matter, as you can still enjoy the activities.  Look into local theater.  I've met people at the Gettysburg showing of Pirates of Penzance, and simply because I decided to pick a random seat alone.

Go to local conventions.  The local ones are cheaper, as you don't need to include airfare and hotel.  Look into any local interest that's a bit off the wall, as you'll find people there.

Here.  Explore your city's visitors site.  Don't discount an event simply because of the venue.  I'm not a big fan of country music, but I used to go line dancing every weekend when it was held at the American Legion.

QuickEdit: Doctor Who Party in August.  Go there.  You have no excuse not to go to it, and don't try to make one.  Go there.

I like the idea of illuminated lanes, as well as the heated pads being able to melt the snow & ice.

It would be helpful in Southern California if it eventually snows since we're not exactly equipped for that and if it did I would guarantee that we would have a world record in accidents in a single day.
