I mean you have to evolve Eevee into Sylveon somehow since they never change the methods of evolving the Eevee's besides Pokemon Gale of Darkness. 

Granted in Heart Gold and Soul Silver you didn't have access to the method of evolving Glaceon and Leafeon since they didn't have the Icy and Moss rocks which was bull [parasitic bomb] since you have to evolve them in Diamond, Pearl or Platinum and trade it back and in Fire Red and Leaf Green you couldn't evolve Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon since they didn't put in a clock function so you had to trade an Eevee to Ruby and Sapphire, I don't think you can do this with Emerald, evolve it there and trade it back which was even more bull [parasitic bomb] since you had to beat the game and do the post game in order to be able to trade between those 2 games and get Mewtwo.

So it's equally possible that they'll avoid that bull [parasitic bomb] and put in Amie or continue the bull [parasitic bomb] and not include Amie and force you to get Sylveon by the methods mentioned above.

Considering how so many people absolutely love Amie, then it would be a crime not to include it.  It's so useful in not only getting Sylveon, but also in in-game battling with the affection benefits, and I can see it being highly useful for contests.

A really cool addition to Amie for contest purposes would be the option to groom your Pokemon.

Better than my method, since I don't have my own copies of Emerald or Platinum. That one went

Take Emerald .sav > Load into DeSmuME with Platinum > Pal Park > Extract Pokemon from Platinum .sav > Convert them to Gen5 > Insert them into White .sav > Put on flashcart > Trade to legit Black 2 > Poke Transporter > LOL TREE DEE

I kind of hope they either give you more options for secret bases than the layouts in Ruby and Sapphire since some of them out right sucked or they make it like the Underground in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum with a huge room.

Honestly I want that, a Mega Milotic, Mega Glalie, Mega Salamence, Mega Sableye and a Mega Dusknoir.  I'm hoping for at least for one if not a few of those.

They always add in features people love and never utilize them again, people are whining about them not allowing Pokemon to follow you around like in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

I'd like some new area myself. FR/LG added the Sevii Islands and HG/SS expanded to have more area in western Johto, so we'll probably get some new areas.

Since Hoenn is based off of Kyushu in southwestern Japan (and rotated 90 degrees to the left), there's two possible ways they can expand for more area. They could add land to the north of Hoenn (basing it off of Shikoku, which is east of Kyushu) or to the west (since north of Kyushu is mainland Japan). It wouldn't be hard to add new routes out of Fallarbor Town or Route 114/Meteor Falls/Route 115. Or even Rustboro if necessary.

The online contest idea sounds interesting.  I could totally get behind that idea, as it'd (hopefully) make up for my mediocre battling prowess.

I want them to do something similar to a Save transfer for Pokemon X&Y.

Since they'll probably bring back costume changes and some of the other X/Y features, pull an animal crossing and allow your XY trainer to go to Hoenn and gather badges/pokemon, and do quests/buy clothes/etc. And be able to transfer that [parasitic bomb] back into XY, which they could totally do because all the Pokemon are already in there and they could easily patch some extra stuff in.

But of course only have it as either a New Game + or as something in addition to the main game.

And of course, who's to say they couldn't do that vice versa, after clearing Hoenn have that trainer go to Kalos or something.

One thing that gets me is that a lot of people complain about the surfing routes in RSE. In retrospect, they really were not that bad, in my opinion. Mr. Briney gave you a boat ride to Dewford and Slateport so surfing was not mandatory until after you beat Norman. It only became annoying after Mossdeep (especially in Emerald) where you had to surf around. Otherwise, Hoenn is my favorite region by far because of the variety of environments.

Hoenn was like the Hawai'i (by that, I mean the Big Island) of Pokemon. By that I mean the island of Hawai'i has eleven of the thirteen recognized climate zones.
