Archetype continued walking through the blazing heat, meeting up with the figures slowly at a time. His curiosity almost made him forget about the strange voice in his head moments before.

As several minutes went by, he could finally make out the shape of the figures in front of him. With what little energy he had, he screamed as loud as he could, "HEY! OVER HERE! OVER HEEERE!" while he waved his hands vigorously through the sticky, desert air. He saw the figures turn toward his direction, though he couldn't be sure. He yelled again as he continued to walk towards them.

"Are you alright, you look lost." Said Borock-bot.

"Lost... I guess you could put it that way. I'm a wanderer..." Archetype replied.

He stretched out his hand for a handshake when suddenly he fell to his knees and quickly tried to regain his balance. "I guess I am a little weak though... there's only so much rations can do for you in these intense conditions..." he said trying to stand up straight.

"Oh dear you look seriously weak." said Borock-bot as he aims his arms in front of him "Cura!"

Archetype jumped for bit as Borock-bot casted Cura on him. He quickly felt his strength returning back to him and the throbbing headache he had moments before stopped as well.

"Wow... I feel terrific!" He said as he rubbed his shoulders. "Thank you Mr... um, sorry. What is your name?" Archetype asked.

"My name is Borock-bot." Borock-bot introduced himself.

"Oh, you're a robot, huh? That's interesting." Archetype replied as he stretched out his hand for a handshake once again.

"My name is Archetype" He said with a smile, "but you can call me Arche."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Arche." Borock-bot said returning the handshake. "If I may ask for what reason do you wander?"

When he heard his question, a few seconds passed before he finally answered, "I'm searching for answers; my purpose in life... I know it sounds cheesy, but it's really important to me." Archetype replied, briefly looking at the ground.

He looked at Borock-bot and asked him, "What brings you here in the desert of all places? You're not alone are you?"

"Well I have three people right behind me and another acquaintance fighting a battle underground" Borock-bot explained.

"I see" Archetype said with a sparkle of curiosity in his eyes.

"You say there's a battle... are you part of some sort of army or... resistance?" Archetype asked.

"Yes I am part of a Resistance." Borock-bot nodded "Are you aware of the current events?"

"Do you mind filling me in?" he pleaded.

"Well a few months ago Dr. Wily II began his ambition of ruling the world once again, and this time he's much more serious and dangerous than his previous attempts. To prevent his goal from coming to fruition Mr. Protoman Blues established a Resistance movement in the hopes we can stop him." Borock-bot explained.

As Borock-bot finished his explanation, Archetype immediately recalled the strange voice and echoed through his head: "join the resistance and you will find your purpose."

After zoning out for a bit, he blurted out "can I join your resistance?" Archetype quickly realized what he just spouted out and felt that it was too rash of a decision, especially for someone who was out of the loop. But the voice that beckoned him to join the resistance was both worrisome and exhilarating. Maybe it was a sign, he thought.

He looked at Borock-bot and said sternly, "I would like to join your resistance. I know we just met, but... I think this will steer me on the right track of finding my purpose"

"I don't see why not, several other members have joined with similar circumstances as your self." Borock-bot nodded "We can use all the help we can get and would be glad to accept you."

Archetype breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Borock-bot" he said.

He looked around a bit and finally asked, "So when do I get to meet the others?"

Archetype nodded and followed Borock-bot, with something he hasn't felt in a while. Confidence.

Arche and Borock-bot reached the others and Borock-bot addressed the others.

"Everyone this is Arche, he has expressed the desire to join the resistance." Borock-bot stated.
