Well, my birthday dinner was less than spectacular.  I heated up a frozen pizza.  It was freezer-burned and you can taste the freezer burn. :|

I need to rectify that, stat!

You need to try my 100% homemade pizzas then. I am slowly learning to perfect a sourdough crust and made-from-scratch sauce so I can create a my own special BBQ chicken pizza. 8)

Perhaps I can! I also have a great Soup & Stew recipe book. I think you'd really like New Orleans Cajun Chicken & Sausage stew!  8D

They do have gloves for that. 8D

Though that did not stop me from getting burned once.

I've burned myself on my oven a couple of times, and burned myself on ovens before.  It's actually not as bad as it seems like it would be.  Once you accidentally burn yourself, you get over the fear pretty quick when you find that it's more of an annoyance than anything.

The big problem I have with my oven now is that it steams up my glasses when I open it to take out what I was cooking.

The worst and best culprit of cooking burns is definitely bacon. It's so messy and crackley with it's greasy bacon goodness.

Worth everything though!  0v0

Seriously?

I just hate burns period, plus I can be a bit clumsy so I'm afraid of dropping something.  Doesn't help that a relative of mine had to go to the hospital for 3rd degree burns, though I don't know her that well and I didn't see the result, it kinda imbued the fear in me.
