"The fasting was necessary for the bloodwork," Yeung said simply. He positioned himself in front of Mewtwo, holding one hand just behind his head, and holding a penlight in the other. "Eating would cause fluctuations in blood sugar--look here, please--which would cause false positives." He shone the penlight into Mewtwo's eyes, to gauge pupil reaction. "Looks good, looks good." Putting the penlight away, he held up one finger in front of the clone. "Follow my finger without moving your head, please."
"Yes, my last few weeks had not been pleasant," Mewtwo did as he was told, following as Yeung moved his hand in a random pattern, "and if I were to have something to eat, I may be more comfortable with divulging... sensitive information."
"It would be best if we recorded that interrogation, anyway," Yeung nodded, stepping back. "Right eye is a bit lazy, both don't work in concert as smoothly as they should, so we'll need to test its vision." He looked to Domino. "You said it had a wellness checkup?"
Domino nodded. "According ta its trainer, an' I called out ta Fuchsia an' got its records."
Yeung nodded. "All right, I still want to do a full workup on it, get some x-rays, but if you guys want to talk to it first, I can wait until after it eats. Across the hall, there's an observation room, got all the surveillance hooked up and ready to go. You guys can run it over there, get it something to eat, and talk to it, then we can finish the exam afterward. I'll see what its records have, in the meantime." He looked to Mewtwo. "You can get up, now. Get some food, I don't want you passing out on me."
Domino nodded and opened the door, motioning for the handlers to enter. "You guys get it across the hall," she turned her attention to James, "you get it some breakfast," then started for the door, "I'll go set up the recording equipment." Stepping passed the handlers, she nodded to the crate in the hall, "We're just goin' across the hall, don't need that."
"Right," one of the handlers nodded and approached as Mewtwo was climbing off of the table. "Alright, let's go. Nice and slow."
His stomach growling again, Mewtwo looked to Ryuta. "I do not wish to jeopardize the case. I will tell them what they wish to hear, but they must not harm my clones. So help them if they harm my clones..." He returned his gaze to the handlers, cautiously making his way to the door and out into the hall. He glanced down the hallway, to a room a few doors down. Though he couldn't actually see what was in the room, he knew that his clones were held in there. His eyes flashing blue for a very brief moment, he sent his clones a message, telling them that he was here, that he would not allow the humans to harm them.
