NieR: Automata, which is one of the best JRPGs in the past 10 years.

I killed Midir in the DS3 DLC so I've moved onto NG+, but odds are I won't be playing it constantly.

Started raiding normals with my guild in WoW, probably going to run Heroic EN next week and see how that goes.

Went back to playing Dark Souls, even though the framerate sucks on my PC. Looked up on how to acquire the Great Scythe, and with a bit of trial 'n error, I got it.  XD

Fear me.

Been playing Strafe.

it's enjoyable enough, but not without it's flaws

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

The Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is fantastic. Vicarious really brought their A-game. I do kind of hope if N Sane warrants a Crash Revival, they are the ones behind it, because they definitely seem to have been able to understand what makes Crash tick.

There's no excuse for the 30fps though

The franchise is linear as hell

I dont notice it, it's not something easily noticed on console and normal TV.

What i DO notice is that the jumping physics are ever so slightly off, (crash falls slightly faster, and you can't get full momentum off of a bounce without a running jump) making the bridge levels in Crash 1 rage inducing. Also, landing on the edge of a platform or box and slipping off.

It's very noticeable if you play PC games

I will say that, given how [tornado fang]ing ridiculous the level design for High Road is, 30fps is actually a good thing

Anything faster will make me kill myself

the bridge stages are unbearable due to the change in physics. mainly, Crash's hitbox now being pill shaped instead of a cube, (causing that issue where if you land on the very edge of something you slip off) and the way you can't get full momentum on a bounce jump without a running start, making the turtle sections of High road damn near impossible.

thankfully, you can still cheese the stage by walking across the ropes. (though crash's hitbox makes this require precision and care now)

I took the plunge and got a cheap used copy of Uncharted. I'm not really enjoying it so far though.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Uncharted 2 and 4 are a lot better

1 is pretty much a slog, and the story isn't that interesting

I also played the first and second one recently. I regret it fiercely. I kinda figured I would be right in the end... it's not exactly for me. I guess I'll always be a Tomb Raider gal~

EDIT: Forgot to mention what I've been playing. Overwatch. Pretty much JUST Overwatch.

And XCOM 2

Cuphead is pretty damn amazing.

Also pretty hard.

I still prefer the Crash Bandicoot Dark Souls comparisons.

Super Mario Run
*ducks a thrown pot*
I know, I know, phone game, but Daisy's in it!

*a'hem*  Also got the Joule and Call DLC for Mighty Gunvolt Burst.  I kinda want to make sure that Inti knows we like Joule, after the limbo that ASG2 left her in.

Also on DeviantArt, Rumble, DLive.tv, and the Fediverse (@freespeechextremist.com and @bae.st)

A Hat in Time is fantastic and everybody should buy it.

Cuphead is also a lot of fun, I really need to buy it when I have money.
