I still don't understand why people [sonic slicer] about the 3DS battery life.

Yeah sure it'll drain out fast if you keep the 3D on with max brightness, but why would you have it at max brightness when a lower setting works just as well if not better, and just because the damn thing is called a 3DS doesn't mean you have to keep the [tornado fang]ing 3D on 24/7, I keep it in 2D half the time because 3D is extremely disorienting for me.

One single good thing came out of buying my 3DS.

Being finally able to play 3D DS games with an analog, instead of an awful d-pad. Albeit the quality screen issue remains.

For me, the analog still doesn't make a game like Super Mario 64 feel much better. Moving and proportioning yourself in the direction you wanna go still feels pretty much as awkward as using the d-pad. And if you want to play DS games in their native resolution, hold down Start or Select while booting up a game. But be warned though, It makes the games considerably tiny.

That's because it is a d-pad with an analog on top. =P But it's still miles better than the DS' d-pad.

Well, OoT 3D worked extremely well with the analog. Worked as well as any stick-based console game. I have a feeling SM64's analog clunkiness has to do with the game being built from the ground up on DS hardware. As opposed to the "foreign" 3DS control scheme.

Well, at least those who played Starfox 64 will feel like they are controlling a starship more than having your thumb slip off the analog stick. That had happened to me a few times while playing the USA Racing Game on N64. That game was jittery as [tornado fang]. High-pitched wilhelms didin't help either.

Yes, but I AM talking about the adaptation to the analog nub from original DS games.

So far, I still don't have any 3DS game to try out, because I don't like/am not interested in any of them, really.
