I want to believe!

Well, technically, I believed even when one image was proven to be a hoax.  But still.  Take THAT all you disbelievers!

Sorry, but it'll take more than just yet another grainy blob of pixels to convince me. oo; If a dinosaur really did exist in the Loch, it would be pretty obvious.

Yeah, that's definitely a boat.

I've probably seen every History/Discovery channel special on that thing, and they've gone over every inch of Loch Ness looking for it.  Literally every inch.

There was another lake monster that had way more cool stuff on it.  I think it was lake Champlain, but I don't quite remember.

Honestly, everyone on this board has a real skill for following the herd.  They can't seem to think for themselves anymore, it's astonishing.  Let alone even bother with wondering "Hey, could it be remotely possible that cryptids exist, even though that pic may just be a speedboat with a wake behind it?"  Wow.  Seriously.  No one is autonomous anymore.

Hey, hey, don't go lumping me in with everyone. I'd still argue for the existence of a cryptid such as Nessy.

I've always found certain bits of cryptozoology (sp?) incredibly fascinating and Loch Ness styled monsters have always been right there at the top. There are times where I catch myself wondering what kind of crazy [parasitic bomb] we still haven't discovered at the deepest recessed of the ocean.

Sadly, this is the result of the instant access age. When enough fact isn't readily available to support a claim, it's completely dismissed by the majority and the minority who might be more accepting or open to such a fascinating possibility are shot down.

Everybody knows that Nessie left Loch Ness long ago, Mr Burns got it a job in Vegas.

One thing about Quickies comment though: These counter arguments are usually fun. I've seen my fair share of discussion like this:

Person A: "Oh hey look at this news"
Person B: "Oh the source sucks, it's totally biased and unreliable!"
Person C - F: "Yeah man, you're totally right" "This sucks!" "It's [parasitic bomb]! Get this outta here!"

And then comes what Quickie described:

Person G: "You're idiots jumping on a bandwagon! Try and think for yourself for once!"
Person H: "Yeah man! Think for yourself!"
Person I:  "Seriously, think for yourself!"
Person A - F: "I'll think for myself now!"

It's hilarious.
