Topic: What got you into gaming?

I played a lot of games when I was a kid, but honestly those weren't the games that made me become a gamer. When I was a kid, I played games pretty much only when I was bored. They were filler.

I didn't truly get into gaming until high school. I hadn't really played any games for a few years and then one of my friends recommended that I play Ocarina of Time. I borrowed his N64 and his copy of Ocarina of Time and fell in love. I got my own N64 the next Christmas and the rest is history.

Well, since then, I'm addicted to it.

My RPG addiction starts on secondary school though, that's when I learned English.

When my sister got an nes when she was around 9 for her birthday from our aunt.

The promise of women and sex got me into gaming.

What gotten me into gaming is Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, it was spending countless hours playing Super Mario World, All Stars, RPG as well as the Sonic the Hedgeohg games that kept me craving for more.

The first game I every played was Sonic the Hedgehog. Now I wasn't really all that into gaming back then since I was only five years old when I first played it.

Oddly enough, the game that got me into gaming (or at least started it) was the first Megaman X. It also got me into the Megaman series.

The funny part is that my uncle, who for all intents and purposes is the exact polar opposite of me, who got me into gaming and ended up getting me my copy of Megaman X for my birthday.

So yeah, I take great pleasure in mentioning this from time to time.
