One thing's for sure: any X-Men-related series that has Rogue, they'll butcher her character. Nothing I've seen has done it worse than the movies, though. Rogue in the old cartoon from the 90's kicked ass, though.

Marvel Anime: Iron Man and Marvel Anime: Wolverine were slated to air in the United States next year.

Marvel Entertainment had revealed in August of 2008 that it was working with MADHOUSE on four series with Marvel's stable of comic book characters. (The other two projects will center on Blade and X-Men.) Masao Maruyama, the co-founder of MADHOUSE, offered a video preview of its Iron Man and Wolverine work at Comic-Con International last July.

The wolverine one... really doesn't look like wolverine at all.

It just looks like they made a new anime series and decided to give the main character retractable claws in his skin. I'd call it: Izumo: Phantom Ghost Hunter.

Nevertheless, I won't count it out due to it's strangeness. It has a strong anime flavor.

As for Ironman, all I can say is "Spectacular, Spectacular, Spectacular!" Hopefully, it'll be worth the hype I feel from the teaser.

OKAY, apparently from what my friend tells me, the MadHouse Iron Man series is similar to Batman: Gotham Knight, in that it has different art/stories/directors & such for each episode. I really hope that's the case.

Yes, each individual episode of Animatrix, Gotham Knight or anime Halo is impressive, but they're not connected in any way, and it's annoying to just go buy some DVD for an unconnected pile of features you watch for awhile and then never touch again. Why can't we have an ACTUAL show?

They'd just have to give it to Madhouse and give them a story like Extremis to adapt. Plus, Iron Man shows actually have a history of being generally good.
