finished Macademi Wasshoi. that show doesn't handle actual plot very well. it should've just stuck to the off the wall zaniness.
I'll keep that in mind.
i've started checking out Mahoromatic. laugh out loud funny so far, but i expect a more serious turn later on.
You won't be disappointed. By the end of the series (and I'm talking the REAL end, read: end of season 2), the anime gets a very serious, yet very emotional and heartfelt tone. It'll make you warm inside while making you remember all the fun you had watching it.
finally, i saw a bit of "the anime called Tsukihime." having not seen the real Tsukihime, i can't complain so far. i understand it angers fans of the original, but how would it be for a casual like me?
Horrible. It mangles MOST of the most important points of the story, and uses a half-assed mix of both of Arcueid's endings. You watch that piece of [parasitic bomb], you're missing on nearly 95% of what Tsuki has to offer.
As for me, I had an unexpected outing today, so I got delayed, but I'm going to start right about now my continuous, sequential playback of all three Mai-Otome S.ifr episodes. I'll report back when I'm done.

OH. MY. [tornado fang]ing.
GOD.Not only am I typing this with tears in my eyes, I have found the ONLY other 10/10-5/5 (Very High Rewatch Value) entry in my considerable list of anime, this miracle being Mai-Otome S.ifr. I just finished the series, and it was nothing short of absolutely fantastic, the stuff legends are made of. Thus far, this makes it only two entries in my entire list to have a perfect 10/10-5/5 score, the other one being Onegai Teacher.
This OVA was so good, it should be [tornado fang]ing illegal. Crystal meth doesn't even come close to it.
And now I'm too emotional to go back immediately to Doujin Work. I need to let down the steam I built up watching S.ifr. Maybe in about two days time I'll restart my normal anime-watching schedule.
Oh lord... Rena... I'm so [tornado fang]ing proud of you...
...And now that I think of it, now I'm thoroughly intrigued as to when exactly was it that she got married and gave birth to little Antsy-chan Arika.
